They didn't ask my husband anything like that.  They did ask him the questions that he already answered on the N400, like if he has ever been a member of a terrorist organization or communist party, etc.  

We got his letter for his oath ceremony on July 9 and it was scheduled for July 22.  We went to it last week and he was in there for about 30-45 minutes.  He said it took longer to check people in than it did for the actual ceremony.  I was not able to enter (covid protocols still in place) so I was sad about that, but glad that we have this all behind us.

My husband got his notice for oath ceremony in the mail on Saturday. His oath will be Thursday, July 22.  Just wanted to update in case that is helpful for anyone else’s timeline. We are Louisville field office. 
 

It seems like they are still only letting the new citizen enter the facility, so I can’t go inside with him.

Thank you so much!  I'm still in shock that it was so fast! My husband got his permanent resident status in 2013, so we are well past the 3 year mark.  We got the notification in the mail on Saturday.  I can't get into my husband's USCIS account when I'm not with him since it sends him a code by text to verify every single time and I keep forgetting to check it when we are at home.  

My husband got his notice for interview today. His interview will be June 21! I was expecting to not hear anything until Christmas or later. We filed on 4/29 and are Louisville, KY office. 

Joining this thread...We applied for my husband on 4/29 and received NOA and biometrics reuse on 4/30.  I am not sure if we are Cincinnati or Louisville field office (we have been sent to both in the past).  When I search on the USCIS website by my zip code, it says Louisville, so we will see...

Approval came in the mail today. Letter is dated 5/4/16. Status never changed online.

Thanks jkb11!!! I had searched for that on VJ before I posted and couldn't find anything. Then after I posted, I used a different set of words and found it! I am on vacation and away from home right now, so this week of waiting for something in the mail will go by much faster!

Hey everyone! We got an e-mail from USCIS today. It doesn't say it is approved or denied, just that a decision has been made...does anyone know what this means? Also, when trying to check the current processing times, there is not an option for I-485 for immigrating family members. Where are you checking that?

Have you had luck using this e-mail address? I finished the K-1 process over a year ago, but I have a friend that is in the midst of it right now. Her case was approved at NVC and sent to the embassy. She has e-mailed them twice and gotten no response. Have you had any luck e-mailing them for packet 3?

This is just the appt. to get fingerprints and photos taken. We filed for AOS in December and had our Biometrics in January. We are still waiting for the green card.

Just got an update that USPS collected the package (it's actually at the sorting facility now in KY) estimated delivery is Thursday 21st February 2013 yayyyyyyy��

So, something interesting happened today. Till yesterday, the USCIS site would say: "On February 13, 2013, we ordered production of your new card." on my I-765 case. However, after checking today, I see: "On February 19, 2013, we ordered production of your new card.". Are they ordering two cards for me?

I thought the same thing happened to me today, but when i re-read them, my second email said "production" in the status but below that it says they have mailed it.

We got an RFE and I want to check with all you experts on VJ before we send it back. It stated we didn't send enough evidence to prove our co-sponsor makes enough (i sent tax returns for the past 3 years) but this time i am sending:

1. W-2 forms for the past year (2012)

2. Letter from employer stating that she is a full-time employee (i thought i sent this and the pay stub the first time, but i must have forgotten)

3. Paid stub from current employer

4. Proof of income from the State Teacher's Retirement System of Ohio

does that look good?

Yes, I did send w2 for the cosponsor and I sent tax transcripts for me. I am sending more verification of employment for both of us and resenting all w2/tax info again. Anything else I am forgetting?

Biometrics appointment tomorrow, finally! Then the real waiting begins. I'm glad I have a full time distraction.
