EMBASSY CHANGED CASE STATUS TO READY FOR ISSUANCE. PASSPORT NEEDS TO BE DROPPED ON TUESDAY.

Called DOS and I asked about the status of my fiance's case. It turns out there isn't anything wrong with my case, but it is still under processing. She said it "normal" processing and it can take 90 days, but in some instances it takes up to 6 months. OHHHHH, i hope I am not one that has to wait that long.

It's 4months and three weeks for us. I'm sending the inquiry to embassy through the Congressman.The same as you,I was told about the 90 days processing time for most cases,but also I was reminded about the possibility of 1 to 2 years waiting time for the process to be done!Begin to write or meet the Congressman or Senator!

Called DOS and case is still pending.

Called DOS and the representative said the case was still pending, but now I know it is at the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and not Washington.

Case number not found. What is happening? It had said application in process for three weeks, now this??
) I just opened a file with a Congressman's office for more follow ups on the case.
