  • Our Story
My hubbie was approved back in 2005 and came to the US with me. We were only here 18mths and he got notified that not only did his Mum have cancer, but his 26 year old son had been diagnosed. We decided to go to Australia. I went through the Australian Immigration process and off to Oz we went. His Mum has since passed, but his son has been in FULL remission for near 4 years now!! Heaps of prayers! This past year, I was suffering from terrible "homesickness" and financially, we could not really afford for me to go back and forth for visits. After seeing my husband through a serious illness and helping him to get back on his feet, I felt totally drained. My son was to be married in September (which was beautiful)...so, In May of this year, I managed to fly home for a few months, to be here with my children and 2 new granddaughters...and the wedding of my eldest son. Being here as made me realize that I cannot move away again. I need to be here with my children, grandchildren and family. Now.....we have a problem!! I want my Australian husband here with me, as well!! Not sure where to begin, but am starting to research everything again. You would think we would know how to do all of this by now, with all the immigration we have been through, but I am worried about all the "red tape", because he left the USA without notifying them that he would not be returning. Also, our assets are not many now...as we have spent so much with jumping all over the world. I am staying with my eldest son and looking for work here. My husband is trying his best to be strong, as I am. We truly want to be together.....and we need to get him back to the USA with me!! I just want to figure out the fastest and best way to go about it....and I am a bit fearful about redoing another application for him....I couldn't bear it, if he were denied, or I couldn't get him here. Nor could he!!! Hoping that with this site and investigating and researching how I may get some assistance with the immigration process, that everything will work out for us!! We just celebrated our 6th Anniversary on September 23rd!! Love you, RoBRoo!! xoxoxoxooxxoxooxoxoxoxo
