  1. Consider re-reviewing the Guides, in particular the K-1 Flowchart. All USCIS-approved I-129F petitions are sent to the NVC for further processing, prior to being sent to the interviewing consulate.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Yes, I saw that. My concern is that it seems to conflict with the information on my notice.

I just want to know if the wording on the notice is usual.

  2. So, even though Igor's List was only showing 2 approvals today, here is what I could see. Some of these may have been in a previous update: sorry.

    Feb. 2: 1 approval, 2 RFEs yesterday / 1 RFE today

    Feb. 7: 2 approvals, 3 RFEs yesterday / 1 approval today

    Feb. 8: 3 approvals yesterday / 2 approvals, 2 RFEs today

    Feb. 13: 1 approval today

    Feb. 14: 1 approval today

Here's where it gets weird. It looks like they tripped over a box of Feb. 21 petitions and thought, what the heck, let's look at these.

    Feb. 21: 5 approvals yesterday / 20 approvals today

    I am so bewildered.

Especially since one of them was ours. I was really not expecting this at all, because we were so very, very, very far from being "next in line." I feel bad being happy. So mostly I am shocked and incredulous. But...yay?

You want some wacky dates just look at the CSC approvals on Igor's:

They go from end of January to the middle of May. What did they do? Throw the petitions up in the air and approve them as they fluttered to the ground?

  3. CSC is processing applications as far out as April now, but there are still many February applications left to be adjudicated. Sit back and relax with us. You're still just within normal processing times.

I was feeling pretty lonely being a feb filer at CSC and still waiting for my approval, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one... Which, come to think of it, it is actually pretty **** of me to be happy that some of you haven't gotten your approvals. So, sorry about that.

  4. Absolutly NOT, it dosent do anything, people who are allowed to do service request are already near getting them without requesting one, so it look like it helps but its just a coincidence. Unless you pass 8 months then yes, you should ask for a service request and a expedite.

    Thanks. I thought so!

The whole idea of having to put in a "service request" is absurd, anyway. I "requested" your services when I filed the damn application. And you agreed to provide that service when you cashed my check! (They sure get that step completed quickly, don't they?)
