My wife is officially a USC!! can someone update the info on the tracker? i couldn't update it to highlight in RED. Her oath cermony was yesterday 6/20 and was a looooong day. I am happy to report that my wife's application got approved yesterday ! she had her interview in the Houston field office and it was easy.
 
I went with her but the officer told me to stay in the waiting room which was fine.  Officer only asked her 4 out of the 10 civil test questions and she got them right.  She read one sentence and then wrote it down.  The officer also verified her identity and asked her some questions in her application ( where did you go out of the country and for how long).  She was in and out of the interview in less than 45 minutes.  
 
we took more evidence but nothing was asked at the interview.
 
They told her the oath ceremony is on 6/20 but i am waiting on the letter as well. 
 
We are so excited this is all coming to an end!

good to know ! My wife's interview is friday afternoon.  I am pretty much taking tax returns, joined bank statements, marriage license , birth cert of of child, birth cert of USC, some pictures, health/car insurance cards, car title in our name to name a few.
 
 

i hear ya, after the long wait and hard work with the paper work , that feeling is amazing.

I took the screen shots right after the skype session and saved them on word document and yes i agree only 6 months back in the actual history thats why i kept a log of my own.

well - now you have a married MENA woman comign over to the USA on a visiting visa heheh
Thank God my wife passed POE with a 6 month visit before i petitioned her I130. She was sent to secondary processing but she told them straight up the plan that she's visiting her husband and will be returning to her country to wait for her CR1 to be approved and interview. I was so happy !! at least i get to spend some time before she has to go back to wait the paperwork.

well, my bro did take some pics at the reception and post on FB, but i did haev a full time photographer too as my bro was my best man so he was just taking pics on the side
i'll be gathering my stuff soon and filing for a CR1 ! yay wish me luck !

I think you have to marry at the church in order to get the marriage certificate - the government won't give it unless you have paperwork from the church....
