Hubby had his interview this morning at 8:30am. He was there for 4 hours. The CO asked 2 questions. Looked at both albums. We had a small ceremony and a huge one later. She commented on how gorgeous both weddings were and said thats all she needed to see. He will pick up visa in 3-5 working days. GOD IS GOOD!! :dance:

Thanks guys. I quizzed him to make sure he knows. He has all the things you guys mentioned. Now its in God's hands.

They should have sent him a list with required items. Make sure you have proof of relationship. Pictures, skype, cards, passport stamps etc. Good luck!!

So my hubby picked up his medical results today. Interview is this Thursday. I am a nervous wreck. Any advice for Kingston Embassy?

Do not waste your time calling. Email them at kingstoniv@state.gov. They will eventually respond. After 5 workin days email again and put 2nd request in subject line. Good luck!!

Once they email your interview date they will send it. You should get the email in about a week. Someone just got their interview for Kingston for Oct 14, 2011. Hope you get yours soon.

CR 1 is best. Just get a cosponsor for I864. Its does not always take longer. Some have done the whole thing in 6-7 months. Start now!

My fiance interview was today. She failed. They said that I was still living with my ex-wife when I went over to ask my fiance to get engaged. and that I'm still tied to my ex-wife. Both accusation are not true. How would they know that? and why would they say that? what can i do?

Maybe your ex-wife told them to mess things up for you. Are you guys on speakin terms? What exactly did they say?

Be strong and stand up for yourself. No one deserves that. There are many opportunities here. You don't need him!

Congrats!!!!! Still no word on mine yet. How did you get it. Did they email it?

If letter says bring it you need to bring it. If you dont they will give you a blueslip and make you bring it later. Just do it right from the start and save yourself the trouble.

I would definately contact them. Send the copy of noa2. What do you have to lose?

Bryan Ryan - please fill in your timeline so that it can help others, thanks! Also read through the CR1 forum or the shortcuts - there is a post that tells you how to track the package, I think its pinned or in the shortcuts

Sorry to say, I don't have any encouragement - it could take a month or more to get an interview, so I doubt you will get it within the next two weeks - even if you could get the interview in the next two weeks, it will take at least a week for him to get the visa. I would keep emailing the embassy with 1st request, 2nd request,..... and your KIN number in the reference line - to be safe I would try to make alternate child care arrangements.

we are in the same boat. my case was closed on the save day but still no word from them. how did u track ur case to know that it reach the Kingston embassy? if u hear anything let me know please and i will do the same. hope we hear something soon

Hi Bryan!! To track package go to DHL and input exp 19 aug 2011a the date is the date nvc said they shipped ur package. If they say they shipped on 19 use 18 instead as they request shipment the day before. U will see a list of various destinations. Look for Kingston. Hope this helps. Hi all!! I am new to VJ but I must say a million thanks as you all have helped me tremendously to get through this process. So here is my story... We were approved by USCIS and our case was sent to NVC. We applied for an expedite due to my son's disability and need for constant care. We were approved!! On 8/19/2011 our case was completed and sent to the embassy in Kington, Jamaica. I have emailed the embassy in Kingston and have got no response. I was able to speak to someone there that said they are VERY behind on emails. She stated that they have not recieved our file. Thanks to VJ I was able to track our package and saw that it was delivered to them on 8/22/11. Why have they not entered it in the system??? I was hoping to get an interview date in the next two weeks because the person that helps me with my son is no longer able to and I have very little family here. Can anyone provide me with any advice/words or encouragement . Thanks in advance!
