Greetings all,
My fiancee just got her visa delivered and she is now going to attend the CFO seminar.
My questions are these:
What are all of the things that she needs to bring with her.
Also is there a better branch for her to attend...and how about times...is there a best time and day for her to attend.
thanks in advance.

Greetings all!
I'm so happy to say that after being on administrative review for over 3 1/2 months my fiancee finally received her visa yesterday!
Just want to make sure on this....
All she has to do now is addend the CFO seminar....right??
Also can someone direct me to a simple timeline or flowchart of what to do once she arrives in the good 'ol USA??
Thanks so much for everything...this place is amazing!
God Bless everyone!

This is very frustrating...I hope someone has the answer.
We have paid BPI...and the my fiancee's medical has been completed. We are completely ready for the interview...but....
We had to reschedule the interview appointment the day before it was scheduled to occur. It was scheduled for Sept 2.
We called Sept 1 to cancel. I was told that it was impossible to reschedule at that time because it was less than 3 days before the interview date. The lady on the phone said to call back in 3 days to reschedule the interview.
I called back and the woman on the phone said that the interview was still scheduled for Sept 2 and we couldn't reschedule yet. That was sept 7.
I just called (sept 13 manila time)and was told that the interview was still scheduled for Sept 2 and we couldn't reschedule yet. Each time I am told that the case has been escalated.
Does anyone have any experience with this? What should I do?
This is so very frustrating!!!
Please anyone help if you can with suggestions!
God Bless!

I have a question: Did you schedule your embassy appointment for your 3rd day in MNL? It would seem that IF everything goes normal then you can schedule 2 days for SLMCEC and 1 day for embassy. Thx again.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

- No, I have an appointment letter from the embassy when I took my medical.
- For people who have an interview date, upon passing the medical exam, seems like 3 days in between the medical and interview date is fine. (actually, mine is only 2 days <img src="http://www.visajourney.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />)
- For people who do advance medical w/o appointment letters, I believe medical results' (upon passing) validity is 6 months, so plan well ahead of time.

- If I understand this right, if for example: Mon & Tue is your medical and Wednesday is your interview date (suppose that it's your interview date), they won't forward your results to the embassy (since they don't have enough time to do so), instead - they'll hand you a sealed envelope of your medical results, and that you need to bring on your interview day... well, you must have a good reason tho for taking the medical exam so close to your appointment day, else, there could be a chance that you might have to reschedule.
I'm glad you find my guide helpful <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Does anyone know if this is still relenvent? My fiancee has an interview appointment set for next Friday (sept 2nd) and can't do her medical until Wednesday and Thursday (Aug 31st and Sept 1st) of next week because her menstrual cycle came and because of two consecutive holidays on monday and tuesday of next week.
Will they still give a sealed envelope to her to take the the interview?
Thanks everyone so much!

Greetings everyone,
My fiancée has an interview scheduled for next Friday at the manila embassy...Sept 2nd. She has not completed the medical at st. Luke's yet...as she was planning to do that today and tomorrow.
however her menstrual cycle has just begun and won't be finished until Saturday or so and the St. Luke's website says that a female of child bearing age should not go to the medical while menstruating. St. Luke's is closed on Monday and Tuesday of next week so she can't go in until Wednesday and Thursday of next week...and her interview is Friday of next week.
I've had to reschedule once because of her NBI clearance and it put us another 2 weeks out...I really don't want to reschedule again. Can someone please advise me on what we should do.
thanks so much for all of the help!!

Manila received digital case Aug 5th.
Full case file received Aug 12th and entered into system.
Paid BPI Aug 12th.
Called Aug 14 to schedule appointment.
Appointment scheduled for August 25th.
Planning on doing medical August 18th.
They even had interview dates open as quickly as August 17th!! What's the deal?? I thought they were backlogged at least a month.
I'm not complaining for sure!!

Hi!
My fiancee is going tomorrow to pay the Visa fee at BPI.
What do I need to tell her to take...I'm sure the mnl number and her passport for ID...but what else?
We haven't received a letter yet...but we do have the mnl number.
Thanks so much everyone!

Maybe I'm just being dumb but I'm trying to make Visa payment online...(I guess because it says I can) and I'm having a heck of a time.
This is for BPI. For my philippine fiancee.
Can I make this payment online or is this something that my fiancee will have to do in person at a BPI branch?
If anyone has successfully done this can you please instruct me! I would appreciate that very much!
Thanks

Is there any certain order that all of this needs to be completed?
cfo
interview
medical
Also for the medical do I need to send her the original noa2 or will a copy work? If I understand correctly she will need the noa2 plus the case number. I never received an email and still haven't received a nvc letter with the case number. I called and they gave me the MNL number.
Thanks so much for all of your help everyone!

Thanks for all the well wishes!
It seems like it was wait...wait...wait...wait...not it's hurry...hurry...hurry.
So if I understand correctly Here's what I can do NOW:
Pay BPI
Have her get her docs in order
Schedule the Interview
Get the medical done
Is that it?
And we can do all of this without her even receiving the information from the embassy yet? Since I already have the case number.
Is there anything else?
The case was forwarded to Manila on August 5th...any ideas how long until she has Visa in hand?
Thanks for all of your help and encouragement everyone! This is an awesome journey! And this website is such an amazing resource!
Thanks again so much!

Greetings everyone!
My soon to be bride and I are extremely excited! We recently got NOA2:
Embassy: Manila
NOA1: March 25
NOA2: July 25
Forwarded to Manila: Aug 5th
Can someone please tell me what my soon to be bride should do now? What do we need to be doing so that we can have our part done ASAP!
We have a case number from NVC and it has been sent to Manila. Would someone please be kind enough to give us some exact steps or point me in the right direction.
Thanks so much!
K1 again same beneficiary
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Greetings all!
Thanks in advance for all of your answers.
My special girl was awarded her k1 visa and arrived in the US on Feb 2. We weren't able to marry due to some unforeseen circumstances. She left today (May 1) to go back home. However we want to start the process over again as the next time she comes we will be poised to marry accordingly.
Can someone help me out with what I need to do, what I need to file and such, and also how long will it take the second time around with the same fiancee?
Again we are talking about doing the k1 a second time around (as if it weren't brutal enough the first time) with the same petitioner and same beneficiary...nothing has changed except she was awarded the first k1 and we weren't able to marry and adjust status so she went home. But we want to immediately begin the process again. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks Everyone!!
