Anyone filing for their parents here from the Philippines? We're Oct 2016 filer too, NOA 10/18. It was stated on the approval letter that they'll contact beneficiary within 30 days and after 30 days, to email and follow up. Anyways, I can't wait and anxious to find out what are the next step and how much more fees to go so we can plan ahead.

In the e-request form it could be either.
On the phone I believe the same since OHLEE20 (check above) his is PR and called himself.
I will wait till at least July before calling. No rush.

When you try to do an e-request to inquire about your case, it must be outside normal processing time which is in general six month.

You can of course try calling them anytime you'd like.

Well, that is really annoying. I hope you get approved soon.
oh I know, i hope soon! and he's left with the babies alone while i go to work and can't drive
but it hasn't been 6 months yet since we filed? We are not supposed to inquire before 6 months normal processing time.
Who called the US Citizen or the green card holder ?
I might have missed this note but where do you see the instructions that we're not suppose to inquire prior to 6 mons of nornal processing?

thanks! just worried coz hubbs DL now expired since 5/31. we went to DMV before 3/12 (GC expiration date) with NOA1 that has the 1 year extension but updated DL never came. he can't drive now

Did you guys get a chance to check your status online? Or are we even using that same tool we used for K1? I just did and it says
"My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

Some airline wont even let you get on board if your passport is less than 6 months to expiration, much more with expired passport. Renew it and yes, you have to apply in person and required your presence
