Al and Patricia got a reaction from Mark&Fatima in processing times
And isn't it selfish and self centered of you, to think that YOURS should be processed ahead of the many people that files a month or months before you files?

Al and Patricia got a reaction from Ivie & Eguagie in Inappropriate Interview
Like the others have said, I think that line of questioning is very inapropiate and I too am sorry for you and all of the other couples that have gone thru that type of interview. I think that a letter to your congressman and senators describing the interview might shock them and maybe have them ask the State Dept why? That being said, I have heard that the consulate in Ecuador is unusually tough. Congrats on passing and hope that you both have a long and happy life together.

Al and Patricia got a reaction from Amby in Heartbroken :(
Just an opinion from from real life experience and advice from a friend. My ex-wife ( not ex at the time) was talking to a man I didn't know. I found some cards etc. were exchanged and in my gut, I felt like something was wrong but, was not sure and I wanted to trust her. I confided in a woman I worked with and she said " if this man was just a friend, tell her to introduce you to him and maybe we could get to know each other" Well, after I told her this, she confessed that it was an affair. I think that if you want a good relationship, you should at least know of all the friends the other has, you might not become friends with them but, you will at least know if they have something going on or not. It is very difficult to hide feelings in person. Just my 2 cents. And I do believe it is very difficult for men to be just friends with a woman......the men almost always want more then just friendship

Al and Patricia got a reaction from EminTX in What made you fall for your fiance??
Her morals and values are so much like mine, she is the kindest, warmest and most loving woman I have ever met. She is and will always be the most beautiful woman in my eyes. She is smart, a great sense of humor, and her honesty and loyalty is above reproach. I love her and feel her love for me in every way possible...what is not to love.

Al and Patricia got a reaction from Krikit in Fly to WA from NJ???
You are free to fly within the USA and you need a government issued ID, drivers license, passport etc. I am not sure but, I think you can use your foreign passport. I am sorry to hear about your cousin.

Al and Patricia got a reaction from Kathryn41 in Point of Entry U.S.
My God man, put yourself in her shoes. Would you want to travel to a foreign country with NO money? Send her $50 or even a $100 so she can at least have something to eat at the airport or on the plane. This will also give her peace of mind if she has to try to phone you if there is a delay and needs to hear your reassuring voice.

Al and Patricia got a reaction from Julie y Pat in Airline madness!
I am not sure in what city you live but, if you buy a few weeks in advance, try Spirit Airlines. They have the cheapest flights I have seen from Lima to FFL ( Fort Lauderdale). Hope this helps you
