SM2010

first of all I apologize for my original post. The name of the page is Islamabad AP tracker not the rant of SM2010. That being said, when you've been with someone for 6 1/2 years, been married for 3, in AP for more than 22 months, pregnant with twins due any day and longing to be with your husband who means the world to you; you don't have a "grip" on it and you lose all perspective.
I understand the need for security checks but it doesn't take 22 months to do that. The average time is 3-9 months. I have an issue with our case sitting at embassy and collecting dust. I believe the government is playing something sneaky to eliminate immigration from these so called hot spot countries. it would've been nice to know the process in details before we got married instead of keeping us in the dark. It doesn't mean that we wouldn't have chosen to get married, we just simply would've chosen to move to another country. I blame myself for not having option B. You're right the government doesn't owe me anything. It's job is to collect about 40 grand of taxes from me each year and in return it doesn't have to care about what my family and I are going through.

So just checked out the link and I believe the best thing to do would be to post the petition and then create a Facebook page where we can post our stories for people to read and request our friends etc to sign the petition. InshAllah we can do this.

I also think now is the best chance to grab congress's attention as they just passed the immigration reform for illegal immigrants. They make take interest in this matter as well. I'm currently pregnant with twins due in 5 days but I'm willing to help in anyway I can. I also believe we can get signatures by posting the link on Facebook. Does it have to be 100,000?

He's probably in Administrative processing. Most men from Pakistan are having to go through it. There is no way of telling when it'll be over. My husband had his interview on July 12th and he's stil in AP. Best of luck to you and your husband

I agree with Golden Gate. They have no right to know intimate details about our relationships. If I get a Stokes interview and I'm asked those questions, I will not answer b/c it is simply none of their buisness. if they are going to deny me b/c I wont share my favorite sex position with them then be it.
