Hello,

we got approved and had already the interview appointment at the embassy,but we decided to cancel the k 1 visa because we notice we are not really ready for marriage.

It's sad because we decided it after everything was almost finish to get the k1 visa. Never then less it happened.

So my question is do you think it will be a problem to apply for the J1 visa after cancel the K 1 visa?

Because I (live in germany)found a job for 1 year and to do it I need a J 1 visa. We still want to stay together,but not getting marry soon.

I'm just scare that they say no at the embassy,because We just cancel the k1 visa.

What you guys think?????

how can I stop the K 1 visa?

Our visa got approved and We got already an interview appointment at the embassy which is already in a couple of days.

So can I (fiancee who lives in germany) just write an email to the embassy or does my ex fiance has to do it?

the big problem is that it takes about 3 months to get the police certificat from Canada. That means my NOA2 will expire : (

on the checklist(Packet 3) it says I need a police certificate for all the other countries I lived at least 1 year or longer.

So on my form DS 230 question 30 which says list all places I lived for at least 6 months, I wrote Canada from 01-2003 until 01-2004.

It looks like 1 year but it was not exactlly 1 year. There are some days missing to be 1 year.

The problem is I send it already out and was wondering not that they think I need a police certificat from Canada.

Do you think it would be enough I just tell them in the interview if they ask me about this or should I send them a new form DS 230 with the date,month and year.

On the paper it says only month and year,that´s why.

I´m collecting all the Documents for my interview right now and I have a question about the police certificate.

On the checklist it says that I need also a police certificate from all other countries where I have resided for at least one year.

I had a student visa for Canada and stayed there for 1 year,but on the same time I was still residente in Berlin,Germany(homecountry) and didn´t sign off my apartment. So do I need still a police certificate and if yes how long will it take to get it from canada and where can I do it?

I´m lost right now.

I heard from another friend that she didn´t even have to show her police certificate on the interview.

Do I need to fill out Part 2 also ???

Because I read this should be not fill out. But on the Form it doesn´t say anything,that´s why I'm wondering

we got approved and know I'm getting prepare for the packet 3.

I read that I need the police and birth certificate. I'm just wondering how many of the original should I request,because for later in the future when I need the AOS. Or is it enough one original and just take copies?

I know I should get the packet 3, but is there something I can do before it will arrive?

Do my fiance have to fill or send me stuff too?

Our NOA1 was feb 22,2011, so we waited more than 6months until we were approved.

I just check my online status and it says we got NOA2 approved on aug 31,2011 and they would mail it.

So how long does it take to received the hardcopy,because since now we didn't received anything.

And what is the next step now,so we can fasten it.

Can I do anything until we received futher information?

we got our NOA1 on Feb.22 and still waiting for NOA2.

it's been now more than 5 months and still nothing.

Is that normal? I'm just freaking out I can't wait anymore.

On Feb.22 we got our NOA1,so it's been almost 6 months with no answer from Vermont Service .

On feb.22.2011 we got our NOA1. Now we are waiting for NOA2. I'm checking everyday if my case status change ,but still nothing.

Will I get first a note through my email,post or does it show first online on my case status ?
