Rufus2012 reacted to baron555 in So, I finally heard something...RFE!
    Yes.....but.....you pulled an RFE.
Does your fiance know about all these probationary requirements and background?
You don't need to disclose anything to us....but she NEEDS to know everything.....you can be assured that this will be mentioned or asked or her at the interview....especially to pull an RFE.
Also she needs to know that the CO may ask her pursposefully misleading or false questions relative to your background.......do not be casual about all this. It may or will happen and her response may dictate entirely if she is granted the visa or not.
This IS NOT something to be casual about. If you want PM me and of course all will be kept in confidence....but your story and their result is not lining up. A crime is a crime and they take everything and know everything seriously. What if they deny the visa for her? Are you ready for that?
Yoiu need to give them everything you can. They can want everything they want and you have NO choice in the matter....or accept denial.

Why go through all the trouble of getting a visa that specifically states that you must be married within 90 days of entering if you are going to ignore its intention?

People should spend their time planning a great marriage instead of a wedding, The wedding is a moment in time, the marriage is forever... which is more important.

Agreements between spouses can be renegotiated, but there is a limit to it. It's hard to say based on this particular subject whether he's being unreasonable. Nevertheless, 6 months is a hell of a long time to have a guest, especially in such small quarters.
Honestly, what troubled me most was him talking about his dad being in the room and mumbling after the OP told him she loved him. I can see avoiding explicit conversations, but a simple "I love you?" If he still sees himself as a child to his parents, it's going to be doubly miserable when they're visiting for 6 months.

Those two items are evidence that the two of you meet in the last two years. It doesn't in themselves show the two of you have a bono ride relationship. You will need more evidence to show a real relationship to overcome suspicion of a marriage for a green card.
Do some serious reading on the k-1 process before you file. You don't seem to have a basic grasp of it based on your posts.

You are more likely to be in serious trouble for getting married.
The I-864 is terminated when they become citizens, mine will terminate in two weeks (not that I care about the I-864)
Peddle the poisons somewhere else. Getting married is not for cowards.

You are not over-reacting. This was an agreement, and there is nothing more important than the word of spouses between one another. It doesn't have much to do with parents visiting. It has to do with changing an agreement you made before you were married. If he is going to change 2-3 weeks into six months, (of every year?!) then what other agreements is he going to simply discard?
Don't take ####### about "compromising" with him in violating agreements. There isn't any point to making agreements in the first place if afterwards you are manipulated into changing them for spurious reasons. Presumambly we are talking about an adult here, not a six-year-old who wasn't capable of thinking through what an agreement means. You don't make cultural excuses for this. The time to have invoked that cultural matter was when you made the agreement in the first place. If he isn't a man of his word, then he isn't a man.
Most likely he made that agreement to satisfy you at the time, (prior to marriage) with the intention of manipulating you into changing the agreement later. If so, you can look forward to that kind of treatment for the rest of your marriage unless you prohibit it. It isn't really relevant whether a visa can be approved for this length of time - what is relevant is whether you can trust this guy.

Won't work but it is FREE to get turned down.
She will not be able to work for some months after arrival either so it would be kind of silly to expedite the first part, the petition, only to have to wait many more months for her green card or EAD.
Perhaps you should consider a different attorney to handle your filing.

You run a law firm & you can't figure this out?
Expediting this will not work. Her employer's late payment to her is irrelevant. She can get another job that does pay her on time. There is a reasonable solution that doesn't require an expedited case.
If you need help to run your law offIce, then hire a US resident. You can solve your problem that way. There is reasonable solution that does not require to expedite this case.
