  1. If for two people anually it is $18,000 then $2,100+$800(which it is reduced to)=$2,900 a month, that would equal $34,800 a year, that would make them well over the 125% proverty level. So if thats the case from what I am understanding, a cosponsor would not be needed. Correct me if I am wrong.

you can go to the uscis website and download the i864P it's the guide for the poverty guideline. the petioner has to guarentee the US government that the benificiary won't be a public charge, the petitioner must meet a minimum required. if he or she doesn't then they can use a joint sponsor

  3. I just wanted peoples opinions or experiences. I was just wondering with the Nigerian visa process, anyone that went back to Nigeria for their fiances visa interview....and did their presence there help with the visa interviewer decision in approving the visa. I am basically wondering if my presence in Nigeria at that time will presuade the interviewer that the love is true and honest...and our intent is genuine.....Sorry wasn't exactly sure how to word this and I hope....under all the wording, my point is made....smiles

  4. I really think they need to up to amount of together time before filing . Like 90-120 days in the last 3 years of which 60 has be be in the last 2 years.

Well....only problem with that ....is it would only be convenient for those people that don't have to work hard for a living or don't have family to support...then it would be ok to spend that much time away from home..... But reality is, most people are just hard working americans with responsibilities other than themselves....

  5. I flew Arik air twice....once in Nov 2010 and again in April 2011 both nonstop fro JFK to Lagos....The flight is a good flight not usually overbooked and means are tollerable. There is onflight radio and onflight Video's and saved TV programs. The only complaint would be flying coach is that the seats don't recline very far back which makes for a troubled sleep. And yes the flight prices are good......

  6. lol...I can see you gulping at the DL.....funny....I told mine when he gets here He can't drive my car anytime soon.....smiles

We're at 2 weeks and 2 days, so we qualify for 'happy beginnings'/'honeymooner's award if anything. We're both still a little surprised to see each other every morning and just dwell in each other's presence

Please keep us in your prayers Sub-Saharan family.
