Met on a Galapagos cruise yacht where he worked and I was vacationing. Talked on the phone and over email for 9 months (during which time the boat sank :( and he started working on the family farm on the mainland). Went back to visit, got engaged. Continued over phone 8 months while working out details. Went back to visit/fill out paperwork. Passed interview and he came back with me in December, married in January.
