At this time F2a is not a priority as the visa is under the ban till end of December (which will more than likely be extended by current administration)
and CR1 /IR1 interviews have priority in Casa
again,  there is a huge lists of cases already at the embassy waiting for interview (both spouse and fiancee applications that were cancelled earlier this year)
i am sorry as i know you want to be together but you need patience as this will be a longer wait
you can see who did most recent interviews on the Moroccan portal page on the right hand side but they are all spouse for USC (no F2a or K1 )
the embassy has approved many that were in AP since before the covid shutdown for spouse and fiancee of USC's

There is nothing to be afraid of, you will not be denied a visa simply because of a history of TB infection. But you should tell your spouse, and your physician, because they will both find out during this process. To clarify, what you had was active TB which required a full course of treatment. You are now in remission, but still have inactive TB lingering in your system and there is the possibility that it could revert to active disease again in the future. (Lots and lots of people have been exposed to TB and have inactive disease that never causes a problem. Although there may be social stigma involved with TB infection, it is not a disease of the disadvantaged and there is no shame in acquiring an infection.) The reason this background is important is that USCIS' primary objective in requiring immigrants to undergo a medical exam is to prevent the spread of TB and other infectious diseases inside the US. Therefore, someone who has had TB in the past but is now cured or in remission, and is not a risk of infecting other people, is of little or no concern to USCIS. Their objective in the screening process is to make sure you are not one of those (infectious) people and, if you are, to make sure you are not infectious when you immigrate to the US. Since your examining physician will readily figure out that you have a history of TB (if you have a PPD test placed--which you should not--it will come back positive and they will order a chest x-ray, where your lobectomy will be apparent), what they will do is to require you to provide 3 sputum samples over 3 consecutive days. These samples will be cultured for 8 weeks to see if there is any Tb growth. If there is (which is unlikely, based on what you report), then you are still infectious and will require additional antibiotic treatment, and will then have to repeat the above process until the cultures are negative. If there is no growth after 8 weeks (i.e., cultures are negative), then you will not require any additional treatment and will be allowed to continue the immigration process. (You will also be required to notify the public health department where you live in the US, but that is just a formality.) Bottom line, your immigration process is likely to be extended by an additional 8 weeks while you wait for the results of the culture testing, but you will not be prevented from immigrating to the US. And you should tell your spouse because it's nothing to be ashamed of.

@jlc201, thank you for this reply. A rare ability to provide an information on a sensitive topic in a value-neutral manner and without going in lengthy moral lectures. Very professional and empowering for the OP.

No, actually as I have said we were honest through our proceedings so don't worry your pretty little head with that. My question was merely about the proceedings to come. It was your clever remark and implication that a teen that experimented with an illicit drug would now be as you said to quote you "He tried marijuana once as a teen and now the urine test is positive? Uhm, I'm no doctor, but it seems like he has a lot of liquid retention..." Please don't attempt to illicit a response nor imply that I said something to that nature. It's not helpful in the least.
Apparently you have very little to offer in the sense of "help nor guidance" so I would very kindly ask that you refrain from any kind of response to my topics in the future. These forums are used by those to offer help and advice on immigration. They have been a haven to many that needed a place for solice and advice. Not trolling nor words with malicious intent, under the guise of help.
And please... trolling is so déclassé. To try to gain some sort of joy or pleasure from another's pain? Please find another topic or poster to engage with. I do hope that you have not encounted similar posters/trolls in your search for help here in the forums. I have found everyone to be truly helpful up until now.

Fortunately, I didn't fall off a turnip truck either... However, I do believe that I said the urine test was positive from another situation that I "... ever so slightly and gently glazed over". I will not go too terribly in depth as some things are better left unsaid. I stated it was only his admission of his teen silliness that got him tested to begin with. I do believe others will understand my post as written.
Sorry if you found it difficult to follow. My apologies. But thank you for your wonderfully kind and helpful response!

At first I wasn't going to give your replies a second glance but so you are able to fall asleep tonight, here you go.
This site is for help not condescending remarks, regardless of the simplicity or content of the question. It seems that everybody but you understands that. If you think the question is pointless to you, fine don't respond to it. Do something productive with your time instead of wasting it by expressing your irrelevant feelings on the topic. You think 100 photos is an overkill? Fine too. Simply state it, or not, and move on. In the end, it's our petition and we are paying the fees to file it.
Glossy? Matte? Long hair? Short hair? Don't care? FINE. We were asking because we haven't done this before and wanted to know what everybody else did to get some ideas. Regardless of your feelings, we wanted to know and we are entitled to ask the question even if it's not an obligation of the members of VJ to answer.
To be perfectly honest, I'm not filing to be thoughtful or sweet to the adjudicator. I'm filing to prove my relationship so that I am able to get my fiance to the United States and we can pursue our relationship like "everybody else". If 100+ photos happens to make me feel like I am doing that then by all means I will send them. It's wonderful that your relationship and the events within it can be shown in 3 photos, and many others have been able to do the same, but my fiance and I feel our relationship can not be expressed in that amount, so we are doing what we deem appropriate to prove it. Everybody is different and everybody has different standards, and all are fine within reason. I don't believe there is a photo minimum/maximum it's just a matter of personal choice.
P.S Different consulates have different varying levels of fraud. Therefore, high fraud consulates usually need/want/ a bit more evidences than consulates with a lower rate of fraud. I bet a lot of officials are content with 5 photos but some require you to jump through hoops to achieve your dream. Some of us feel the need to provide a large percentage of our ~proofs~ to avoid problems down the line. I think it's better to have more than not enough. Immigration is a privilege not a right and I will do everything to prove that I am deserving of being the granted the opportunity to have this PRIVILEGE. That's my perspective, and you are entitled to yours. But if you don't possess the ability to not be pretentious about it I would greatly appreciate it if you saved your two cents for somebody who could really make use of it. Good day to you.

Thanks Ahmed, Mohammed is enjoying married life lol. Ya know what I was thinking, if there is anyway on your end if your taking care of the pictures, I might consider this option. Since you have so many good pictures, take a 8x10 page and add Margaret and your famiy members bonding on this page, add as many as you can on that page or two pages if needed.. On the next 8x10, do the same with you and Margaret and the family members bonding. Now use a few more 8x10s and add just photos of you and Margaret. This way when the CO looks over them they are organized neatly and easy to find without them having to look through to many.
During our AOS interview, the CO said this is very neat, may I keep these pages for our file.
    Hope this help.....

I went to Walgreen's website and uploaded all my photos from my trips to Morocco. I then did about 8 or 10 sheets in size 5x7 collage photos and each sheet was labeled at the top what it was from...1st Trip 2008, Our Wedding, etc... On each sheet there were about 8 to 10 photos. Yes it was a lot of pictures but it was neat and organized and nice to look at. Think about your job and having to look at all this type of stuff each day. Would you rather work on the petition that is neat and organized or the one that has 1000 pages of chats and 100 pictures+ ? Best of luck to you in whatever you decide to do.

Just because it was sent doesn't mean that the CO will look at each and every one of the 100 pictures. It shows a preponderance of evidence especially for us in tough consulates.

Overkill is when you spend time waiting for an approval to get finally a life with the one you love and in the end you get denied without any reason to mention. Knowing that Canada, China, + any kinda European countries or 1st world countries are not as tough as what people face in consulates such as the Moroccan one.
Thank you all again especially those who are respectfully responding to our questions and concerns

From someone who took 4 folders full of all kinds of chat history, 1 folder with at least 60+ photos printed on glossy photo paper plus all the documents and forms requested I would say take as many photos as you want, use the glossy paper because it does look better and if you want, later you can put the pictures on a frame or album like I did. Take as much evidence as you can, the more the better and on a high fraud country I would recommend it.
On my interview day, when my fiance (now husband) and I entered the CO's room for the interview, as soon as he told us we could sit down, we just put all those folders on the table which probably scared him lol In the end it worked out perfect because he didn't ask for pictures, any chat history or any evidence at all but he knew we were prepared if he did. People got amazed on how much stuff we had but I am pretty sure if I did not have all that evidence with me that day, he would've asked for something I wouldn't have in hands. Good luck!

I printed ours on (matte) white cardstock. We had 3 visits, and I arranged the evidence with everything from a given trip grouped together, with a cover sheet listing what was in the section, and then the photo page(s)[1-3 pages per trip, with 5 or 6 photos per page] as sort of introduction page showing the relevant details ("Trip 1: MM/DD/YYYY"). I liked using paper, as it allowed me to easily group relevant photos together and to provide captions (people in photo, date, location). Every photo I sent had both of us in it, except a set of 2 of us both in front of the same location.

    I agree with you.
It's always interesting to read responses from 1st world countries on these matters. I think for UK embassy, the beneficiary just has to have a pulse and visa will be granted while others have to send everything seemingly including the kitchen sink. And even then no guarantees.

You can print them on regular paper, 4 on each, save the money and take your soon to be wife out to dinner instead.
If your question had been regarding passport style photos, I'd have gone with matte.

Thank you all for your responses
We still insist on sending all of the pictures we chose, but from what we've read on other people's posts it seems that in many cases the consulates make their decisions even prior to any kinda direct contact with the couple or interview so since we are legitimate we do believe that more photos and more proofs we can submit won't hurt our process but less may have some pitfalls.
Not really otherwise we will need to post it on something like Jokejourney.com instead xD

It matters so little that some have even printed them side by side on plain paper and gotten approvals, allegedly.

It's true you should front-load, but don't go overboard or they might get irritated . I made color copies of about 8 photos. We weren't even together in several of the photos, but just standing in front of the same landmark or rented car . Only in two of the pictures were we together, and we had none of any family members at all. Just think in moderation. What they want to see, in my opinion, is down to earth, common sense decisions that the two of you are making and that your relationship seems sound.
