Hi Everyone, I had my Interview last June 30, 2016 but got a "Decision Cannot be Made" .. Today, I received a Text that my oath has been scheduled and wait for the letter in the mail.

Finally, after anxiously waiting - I got the Oath Letter in the mail today. My date is July 21. Yay!!!!

Believe it or not I'm back at uscis field office to pick up my oath letter, It will be on july 14 at 1 pm

Thank you Ryna, it was definitely a good idea to go in person, they told me that the ceremonies are every week, he also told me that if is not next week it will be for july 14 worst case, but believe me Ryna at this point I will be worried until I have the new letter on my hand

I think you'll be in the next ceremony at USCIS. I think they are every 2 weeks. And, it's good that they took the letter because it means that there will be no time lost in mailing it and they can schedule you as soon as possible. It's also good that they will call you to come pick it up this time so you'll know immediately when your oath is.

I'm getting ready to got to the field office, already have an infopass appointment for Juliy 15 wich I will keep under my sleeve for the worst case scenario, I will update latter to see how this episode ends. Thanks

Ok I have mixed feelings now, I explain my situation to security so they let me go in to the front desk, The two officers there were so nice and sympathetic, one pf the officer even ask for my phone number so when I get a date he will call me to pick the letter up from the office instead of waiting for mail... On the other hand they told me to give the letter to them in order to do the job, They were even talking to each other in low voice like "we screwed up", "there is no way he was going to make it" " the letter is dated 28 and the oath the 30 oh my good". I made a copy this morning to keep it just in case

Hopefully it will next week. Monday is a holiday but you may get a call on Tuesday.

Infopass at Orlando takes forever to schedule or you need a lot of luck to find a last minute cancellation. Go tomorrow. I'm almost certain I remember seeing 7AM on the door when I was there on Tuesday morning. If anything, it is 7:30 at the latest because it was definitely "7". I think they'll at least talk to you and get you into the next ceremony. They've already shown that they don't need much notice.

I cant believe this is happening, I receive my oath ceremony letter today, and I was scheduled to take the oath today at 1 oclock, of course I didn't make it, it was mailed on june 28, so mailed on tuesday to have the ceremony today, I can't believe uscis did this, I hope somebody can help me

They asked at security but, honestly, I passed through before my wife even showed them her appointment letter. I just had to show my ID first and I did mention that I was with her. I still think you'll get in with the oath letter and late postmarked envelope.

I was thinking about doing that, I was looking for infopass appointment but there is none it say check tomorrow, I know they have ceremonies on fridays but I guess they change it for Thursdays now, They maybe can squeeze me on tomorrow's oath if they have one are they open that early (7 am)

So sorry to see this... Go there first thing tomorrow, 7AM, with the letter in hand explaining that it arrived after the scheduled ceremony! Do not leave until they re-schedule you for the very next one!
Also, take anything that can help prove when it was mailed. A printout of the text/email and the envelope (if it has a postmark that says Jun 28). My wife's text was on the 22nd but the envelope says 23rd. If your letter was mailed yesterday (or even on Tuesday), there is no way they could expect you to be there today!

Where and when is your oath?

My wife is a US Citizen today! It was a nice little ceremony with a few nice videos, and some brief messages from a couple USCIS officers. We arrived at 8:20AM for our 9AM ceremony appointment time. At 8:45AM, they had the family members go into the ceremony room and take their seats, while the people to be naturalized got checked in. There were 99 people from 44 countries there this morning. We were all done by 10AM, and they handed out their US Naturalization Certificates at the end. They had a nice packet of information about things to do after today, like register to vote, US Passports, and other optional things.
