I wanted to thank everyone on here for their support and advice. I know I made a decision and I am sticking by it. Some might say it is stupid to take her back but I know this was the right thing to do. She hasn't gain all my trust back but she is starting over and it is going to take some time.

I am here to get some advice on this difficult situation not start an agruement between VJ members. I didn't say I was going to just divorce her right away I need to get all the facts straight first. Vietnam is a very conservative country and if she kissed that guy in public like that who knows what they did in private when I wasn't there. All the facts will come out and I will decide. I don't know when but time will tell. Thanks for all the advice.

I wouldn't advise you to travel with an EXPIRED passport it could get you into major trouble. Why didn't you renew your passport first before getting the tickets?

Check her passport they might have stamped it inside her passport.

You are proposing fraud. Be prepared to be told that bluntly. It is a fact, not rude. One COULD consider it rude for you to come here and ask how to skirt around the law. It is, in fact, against the TOS rules
If your mother was injured on the job she has workman's compensation and that counts as income. Otherwise, plan on returning to the US and getting a job OR getting another co-sponsor. Sounds like you planned for ways to get around just about everything, but eventually you get in line like everyone else. If you thought you were going to do an end around for an easy route, you were mistaken. And if you marry in Mexico then the visa to have him come here is even more difficult.

OP we are not trying to be "rude" to you!! We are just stating the facts. Just like AZ110965 said this is your petition you could do whatever you want with it. We are here to help you if you need but it comes down to only YOU to make the choices.

In my opinion I wouldn't have purchase the ticket until she got her visa in hand because anything can go wrong. I am not saying it could go wrong but anything is possible with the visa process.

I know its none of our business but why wouldn't you meet in person first and get to know each other then file the petition :whistle:

I know we haven't met or anything but I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is hard to move on but you have to for your dad because he would want you to move on with your life. Don't give up on anything!!!
