I dont mean to brag, but Im extremely happy that my request for expedite under the financial hardship category was approved after 17 days! Firstly, I want to let you guys know that getting your Congress Representative involved in your case DOES help. On September 24, I requested an expedite under financial hardship. On the same day I received a request for evidence. I sent my evidence on September 28th through fax. I received a fax confirmation and that's it. I practically called the USCIS everyday. On October 10th, I requested an expedite for a decision. The Tier 2 operator told me that by Monday October 15th, I will receive a decision. However, I didnt all I received was an email stating that they received my evidence and that my case was still under review. So today when I called again the Tier 2 said maybe I should contact my Representative. So I did out of frustration. Being that my first K1 petition was denied at the US Consulate in Jamaica, I contacted my Congress Representative back in Janaury. And I had no idea that any other case sent to the USCIS is reported to my Congress Representative. Luckily, my Congress Representative is Jamaican like me. Anyway, when I called the office today they told me that they sent me mail and if I received it. And then I said why what happen? Then she said to me that the VSC center emailed them letting them know that my second I129F petition was approved for expedited processing on October 11,2012. Just to show you how inaccurate the USCIS can be. It is better to get your Congress Representative involved because they directly contact the Service Centers. And once you get them involved, they will follow up on any other thing that you do with the USCIS. Also, for anyone that feels that they will have a good enough reason for an expedite please do it and pray on it. I received a lot of negative feedbacks from some VJers. The ones who believed that only US Deployments get approved. Also, those with medical emergencies. Financial hardships do get approved! And I make way above the poverty level. So please dont assume that this will effect your case in any way. Just cause you make enough doesnt mean you can't have financial hardships. If you guys have any questions please feel free to ask.

My reason for financial hardship was for all the expenses I incurred with my first.K1 that was returned from the US Consulate in Kingston, Jamaica, the new expenses I will have to incur once again with my new k1, the days without pay that I took to visit my fiance, and the fact that we are expecting our child together in March. Also, the burden of helping my fiance out sometimes financially due to his job instability in Jamaica. Also, the burden of taking care of myself and my four year old daughter as well. I provided proof of everything stated which included a letter from my job. Also, I stated by when I would need my expedite. I had a load of reasons and proof to back it up. Once you can prove your financial hardship with evidence then your good. One key thing I pointed out to them is the fact that I make way above the poverty level so when it reaches the Consulate in Kingston I dont have to worry about them thinking I wont be able to support my fiance when he gets here.

Yeh me n her had mad convos. We filed same time etc. My husband had his interview today and was approved.: ) .ppl I've talked to say this is not possible whatever happened here. Not knocking her at all, But if all worked out then I'm happy for her.

I personally think that the pregnancy wouldn't be looked at as something that they intended to happen. She has gone to the UK to visit him 3 times in the last year. They have had plenty of time to get pregnant.
My definition of extreme hardship doesn't seem to fit this situation upon further investigation. But it sure is going to be terribly hard for her.

Just what I mentioned...that there's the risk that when they go to adjust status, the officer reviewing the case may believe they intentionally got pregnant as a means of staying in the country. While they may get approved with no issues, it's better to know the possible risks involved.

No one is looking for feel good answers. I am looking for humanity, kindnesss. Is Thanksgiving not tomorrow? Do not presume what I appreciate and what I do not.
And I ask on a public forum because I am still naive enough to believe that every single person in the world is good hearted.

Babygurl, hold your head and don't business with the negative comments of these people on Visa Journey. I know of many people who complain about the negative people on this site. Including myself. I guess that's the thing about the internet, some people don't have the balls in the real world to speak their minds so they get on a computer and have much to say. Nobody owes anyone an explanation of why their journey is over. And for the person who stated that cause she is with an entertainer her journey just begun, who are you to make such a comment? So cause your loved one isn't an entertainer your relationship is better than hers? That comment alone can make your relationship crumble right in front of you. Babygurl doesn't owe anyone an explanation of why her husband doesn't have to go on an interview. Don't take your frustrations out on hers. Read the rules on VJ, there is nothing in the agreement statement saying that YOU have to fill people in on EVERY detail. Some of you need to take a deep breath and stop the internet bullying!

Never said I was an expert. And honestly, not trying to be and not interested in being. Being an expert on an Immigration Board? LOL. Nah, I'd rather be an expert in my career in the real world. you don't get paid for this. No any normal person with A LIFE wouldn't get upset cause ONE person on a site that has many many many more members didnt want to give full details as to why her husband doesn't have to go on an interview. Well lemme say this. After reading this post as well as the comments thay were made. From what babygurl is saying she rather not say what happened bcz of one's negative remarks. While everyone else feels like we are on this Journey Together and if babygurl didn't want to share her experience then she shouldn't have said anything at all. In which I agree bcz everyone on here is looking For a way out. That being said Maybe she shouldn't have said anything at all. Knowing that People here are going to ask. Thats my opinion about it. I don't understand How this will not have a interview. A entertainer would fall under the guidelines of a B2 visa and cannot get approved if their is a Open petition for fiance visa, or a cr1 visa. What I have learned out here is that people can not just be happy for you. There has to be sarcastic attitudes that should be kept to ones self. Yes there is freedom of speech, but then again there are limits as well. I wish well for others as I have always did. This sight is to be able to share your experiences granted some should be left unsaid, but at times I feel why share experiences or give an explanation if someone has to be a bad apple with again a sarcastic comment or negative comment. Nobody knows what is really and truley going on with a person. We only go by what we are being told. I have never once responded to someones post unless it is a positive comment, regardless of the issue. Too many people are nasty and rude on this site and maybe that is who they are and will never focus on trying to change that. People just really need to keep it positive on this site. It is really sad what I read sometimes. Negative attitudes get people no where while positive ones get you where you want to be in due time. Remember things happen and they happen for a reason. A lesson for life to learn. Just please stop the hating and sarcastic attitude, negative comments should remain silent. Somepeople should realize what they say and do of a negative manner has a bad impact on some people. Was always taught think before you speak in this case think before you right. You may be one to reach out and get an comment or answer you may not like because you are dealing with all types of people. I wish you luck when that time comes.
