After the I130 petition has been approved, and the visa application approved.
1) Does the NVC center approve the AOS?
2) Can they refuse/deny to make an appointment?
any Information will be helpful!
I called the NVC last night and the automated system said "Your packet will be sent in the next few weeks." They received the packet March 3rd.

hello out there in visa journey land i have been trying to find out the same but to my knowlegde you have to get fingerprints and pictures before interview and i have read that u should wait a day in between so that it gets in there system...there have been also a couple of new ways they do things in juarez..if im not mistaken you can take fingerprints at various different locations in mexico...any info you get please let us know im soon to follow ur steps good luck in your journey
if the consulate does take fingerprints I think my husband is going to have a problem. It's not a big problem(i don't think). But he told police officers a false name and they finger printed him under that name. Several months later he confessed to lying to the police, they charged him with a gross misdemeanor. Under the statue, Lying to police is only 3 months in jail, but he was only given a fine. I'm just worried that his fingerprints are under that false name.

for 2010 I applied for a ITIN number for my husband. He is from Mexico. They asked for the following passport, Matricula(mexico id) and Birth certificate. All had to be notarized. My tax preparers also wanted to send a copy of my marriage certificate but it wasn't needed. Being my first time claiming my husband I didn't get my taxes until 2months and 3 weeks.

My name is Adrienne(like from the movie rocky) my husband is mexican and he cannot pernounce my name. So him and all of his family call me adriana. If the consulate officers ask him my name should he try to pronounce my reall name or my nickname??

I had the same question about going into the consulate in juarez. I've been researching on the internet. There is a cheap hotel called the hotel consulado inn. Then there is a shuttle called amigo shuttle that's goes back and forth from el paso to the consulado in juarez. Also the hotel consulado inn has taxis that will bring you to the conuslate and medical appointments. That hotel is about 10-15 minute walk

My husband is going to have his appointment at the Consulate in ciudad Juarez Mexico. Can I (his wife) go into the consulate with him when he has his interview or do I have to wait outside the consulate.

My lawyer told me that the more medical problems that my kids and I have makes a better waiver. Has anyone else been told this?

I think that as long as your fathers income was enough to support your husband for the past 3 years, he can still be your sponsor. Personally I wouldn't tell the uscis that your on foodstamps.

it's taking a while for them to send my packet to the consulate. It was received by them march 3rd and the guy at the NVC that answered my call said it was still in review.
