  1. i arrived here sept 29, 2011 with my 13 year old daughter i experience a lot of abuse physically, mentally, and sexually. I cant believe this would happen to me here coz i thought my husband truly love me but i found out that he didnt love me, and he just need me just for sex. Our age gap is 18 years but i didnt think that he is older so much than me coz of the years we been together. So sad, im going to give up and wants to go back in the philippines even its hard to get the greencard to come here. I dont care about the green card or US citizen if am not happy here. I think im gonna die or will become crazy here living with him. A lot of friends telling me not to leave USA and need to sacrifice or understand my husband until i become a US citizen, For me, what is the the VISA FOR? if your unhappy. I ask him a favor just find us money for our airfare back to philippines then i will not bother him anymore, but he said if we want to go back to PH then we need to find money for ourselves, it means he will not help us for our plane ticket. sounds like he wants us to suffer here in america. I have so much regret of coming here. But ill try to find money to go back to my country, i dont let him step down on me by many many years.. one year is enough. So right now i am struggling to work a 3 part time job until i could finally save for my airfare. if i be in the Philippines, i want to forget all those bad memories from here, i will just put on my mind it just a dream.

  2. i just want to pick up the pieces here that's why im asking help if i have the chance to stay.. i already sacrificed everything in my home country... thank you to everyone, i will be back on china this december..

we're in same situation. thinking of going back to philippines as soon as i will have money even my daughter could stop her study here. I am not here for just america am here for him and expecting have a happy family but not then why i should stay here. I understand your situation.

  3. i just arrive here in USA sept 29, as cr 1 , i am conditional since my marriage was not 2 years anniversary upon filing the petition. MY question is this coming dec 4 is our second anniversary, what shall i do to remove conditions since it says it can be file 90 days before 2 years anniversary reach... pls i need advice to those who done this kind of situation.... thanks

  4. Interview last sept 8th went well.. Thank God.. They asked me to show them our wedding photos, previous emails and letters.. The Consul said he would have almost signed my papers but he needed one more document from me.. an NBI clearance with my A.K.A.(also known as ) name on it..so they returned my passport and gave me a white paper 221g form. They said once i got my document i will need to send it together with my passport to the US Embassy via 2GO Courier..

I was able to sent the documents last sept 12 and I would like to know how long will it usually take for them to process the visa??

    thank you soo much..

we have same case they ask my nbi, latest pay stub of my husband and status of his work from his employer, i sent august 26, and got my visa just yesterday sept. 15

  5. hi! Had my interview aug 11 but got a 221g for my NBI with aka. I submitted the required document aug 25. Just called the USEM today, they said my visa is ready for printing. Can anyone here tell me how long will it take to print the visa?

hi, submitted also my required documents august 26... i didnt know yet what the status of my application.. can i ask what number u use to call embassy or email so that i can call or email them too. thanks

  6. If you are ever questioned again about this when you submit the documents they are asking for, better to come clean and be truthful.

Explain to the CO why you did what you did. It is always better to be truthful from the get go and not put yourself in this situation you're

    in. Just my two cents!

    Good luck!

yaaa am going to explain to him f he will ask again, coz i really in doubt if i tell or not on the time he asked me that question, coz its not on the form that i went to hongkong that made me bother coz i dont really like to lie... but when i got the white slip the guy told me, no need for me to go back to embassy, i will just go to 2GO to send all the required documents.. im just hoping this will be ok. Thanks

  7. Asking if you've been to Hong Kong is not a routine question. What about your history suggests you've been to Hong Kong? Why did they ask you specifically about Hong Kong? What reason would you have to lie about that? Give us the story.

i have really no idea why he asked me that, he ask me if ive been to tourist before in even asian countries like hongkong or some other countries and because i didnt filled it up on any of the forms/ documents that i didnt come to other countries thats why i didnt said also when he ask me coz its just 3 days.. whats on my mind during interview is 6 months in other countries that they ask some requirements like police clearance, since am not there in hongkong for 6 months thats why i didnt say that i been there...

  8. Yes, it is possible the CO knowed you lied. They obviously know you went there if they asked you. Lying can lead to a lifetime, unwaiverable ban from the US. You should NEVER lie.

yaaaa. but why they still want me to submit required documents and also my passport if they will going to deny me.

  9. hi, was bit worried and cant sleep, had my interview last august 03, it went well but after the interview i got 221g white slip and says on it have to submit to them my husband pay-stub,job status and IRA withdrawals and for myself they ask nbi under my first marriage with photograph, since on the nbi i got, has no photograph in it. it says on white slip WHAT TO DO NEXT: s on submission of required documents, i have no problem on the documents coz i can comply it. the problem is , it wont affect to the 221g that i lied that when CO ask me if i went to hongkong before , i answered no, even i went there just 3 days... the reason i lied because i didnt put on all documents that i filled up that i went to hongkong and also i cant remember the exact date when was it and the passport am using before on my single name was change and not used anymore and i misplaced then i couldnt see the stamp on it when was it i been at hongkong. It possible the CO knew that i lied? the passport am using now is my married name and no record or stamp on it that i was in hongkong last 2007 for just 3 days.. Thanks to somebody who could share their ideas and experience about this.

  10. Hi all, just a small question amoung the many more inportant ones. Just looking for what the fee for the NBi clearance is. And since my finace was married in the past I am assuming she needs one for each name

    Thanks in advance :)

115.00 peso each ... since im married b4 also i had my single name, married name from my x and also married name now... so had 3 names on nbi, embassy ask..by the way, where your fiance from here n the philippines?

  11. Hi folks,

My fiance went to get her Cenomar and NBI clearance. When she filled out and handed in the form for the NBI clearance they told her it would be a month before she got the clearance, is this normal? It was in Cagayan De Oro where she went to get it. We just Got our NOA2 this week on Monday, i don't want the rest of the process to be delayed if at all possible. The the people where she went to get the NBI clearance said they had a new "system" which is why it would take so long, it just doesn't make sense to me.

    thanks!

yup its normal by this time coz cagayan de oro nbi dont have yet new installed system... they will do manually thats why it takes 30 days.. only cebu, davao and manila taft nbi has a new installed system.

tell your fiancee to go to davao, Davao only in mindanao have new installed system... i went also cebu but theres a lot of people trying to get nbi, i went there tuesday i was in line, later on at 8 am they stop giving priority date and said come back on monday. thats why on that day i went to cebu airport and fly to davao arrive at 7 pm then i went to nbi on that night then the nbi employee says , u can come back 4 a. m and ur priority number tomorrow is one, so i done early in the morning, but i could not on hand my nbi clearance on that day coz my name on HIT but if ur name not HIT then u can have your NBI on that same day. By the way, i am from cagayan de oro also.

  13. thanks. I know in cebu, there is a quota everyday because of the new system . but my husband is in mindanao and it takes 45 days. anyway, thanks for the info. i guess , we are good still. thanks to all who reply too.!

much better n davao than in cebu, i went to cebu yesterday but even priority number i could not have , because of too much people getting NBI thats why from cebu, i fly to davao and done early at 9 a.m., u could have it ur nbi on that morning BUT if ur name HIT then must wait 3 to 4 weeks.

  14. Hi VJ'ers!

I had a battle with the NBI, but finally it's done!

as you know this process can be tedious when running around...but the sacrifice is so worth it.

I went to the NBI in TAFT.

make the effort to get there by 3:30-4am! and you'll be done by 9am!

    same day service!

IF you have a very common name. it takes 10 working days.

    that's better than some branches.

    30 working days!

-the cloying part is they only tell you that they take a "decade" once you are done!

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL!

thanks for the info, i am from cagayan de oro and no new system installed yet it takes 30 days even name wont hit and n hit name it might 3 months so i went to cebu yesterday arrived at 7 a.m then we in line when were almost on the gate, they said stop giving priority date and come back line again on monday for priority date, i was so upset then go to airport and fly to davao , arrived at 8 pm and going to line but an nbi agent told me to sleep coz the line start there s 4 a.m so i find a hotel to sleep and nbi agent says i am on number one on priority date so woke up 3 a.m then done early at 9:00 a.m but my name on hit , then they cant say 10 days and they said maybe 3 weeks. they are not sure with it. so i think i need to go manila for just nbi coz am done already my interview and CO asked my nbi on my first marriage before they could send my visa..ohhhhhhhhhhhh goddddddddd help... im always delayed

  15. Visa was delivered yesterday around 2 PM.

This was while 2GO could not tell us where it was and did not have a tracking number for us.

No matter we have it now we will fly out of Iligan City on 8/3 to manila and attend CFO on Thursday 8/4, and fly to Dallas on 8/7.

Thanks VJ family for all the help and support as the LDR and K1 visa has been a struggle the end is near.

Then we will start the AOS process which I hope is simplier.

hi, how long is waiting period for review by CO the documents they required after they got it? they required me also NBI fom my x husband surname. Thanks

  16. I have worked over 25 years for a major US employer. For employment verification they use a service call "The Work Number".

I have pdf files of paystubs.

I have a pdf file from the verification service. I can get this once a year. Last one is dated in May.

I have a pdf of my current employment status. It shows as "active" only.

I have pdf files of bank statements showing payroll deposits.

But none of these are signed by any officer or representatinve of any company.

I have asked my local personel office for a "signed" letter and that have verbaly told me that for legal reason they will not provide it. The service they use, The Work Numer, meets any requiremenst thay have to verify employment. It will take a court order to get anything more from them.

Does any body have a sugestion?

Will the unsigned documents I have be enought?

done my interview but they still need the job status, recent paystub and IRA withdrawals/account records of my husband..i think embassy wants to make it sure f the petitioner can sustain or support to his/her beneficiary while in USA. i think CO wants to know if YOU are regular employee or permanent. i think if it is only contractual employee, they will not approve the visa of beneficiary..

  17. I went to my interview today and do all the process correctly. From finger scanning, pre-interview up to final interview. There are a lot of question on my pre-interview but i was able to answer all. On my final interview, there's only 3 questions and when answered, the CO said "No problem. Everything is Okay. Have a nice trip". Then he just told me that, USEM just need an explaination from NBI. As per USEM website "An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of “No criminal record”, "No pending criminal case” or “With derogatory record.” I got the latter. My question is am I approved or not? How long will it take the USEM to get the NBI explaination? Oh, they also got our passports (me and my daughter).

I would gladly appreciate anyone who has the same experience and share it with me. My husband is so upset with what happened.

    Thanks.

hi , for my case is about NBI too because my NBI using my first marriage surname has no photo. CO wants me to send to them via 2GO courier NBI with photos in it and also the passport so that they could send my visa.

  18. I asked my employer for employment and salary information and I received a following information

It contains my job title, and how long I have been working, and current gross salary is USD hourly rate.

However, it does not contain if I am permanent or temporary. I am consider a non exempt, which eligible for overtime pay. Not sure why I am not give a year salary. Is this okay to have hourly rate for salary?

I am a full time employee. Do I need to request another letter from my employer about permanent or temporary ? Thanks. .

done my interview last august 03, its good if u will ask the status of your job, coz in my case they ask me the status of job of my husband if it is permanent or temporary...consul told me, that they need it so that they will know if my husband could support us. NO more review for interview but i need to send the status of job of my husband from employer before embassy will mail my visa...
