I cant contribute much to this,but i wont even fear his being denied,cos i believe the VISA aspect is the hardest part and if he has scaled Lagos embassy.You guys should just ensure the docs you r submitting for adjustment of status shows ongoing relationship.

Passports Needs be Valid for 6 months above.so if its less than that,it shld be renewed.

The Police clearance is to show No criminal records.I am sure its d required doc,other than any form of letter

Ironically,i call my US fiance more than she calls me,cos she is on my Family n friend List.Its cheapers for me cos i mostly have Free call card on my fones.

She text for free on her tmobile and she wld ask me to call if necessary for a long chat.

I can definately defend that when my interview comes up next week....

The second interview in Lagos after a DNA test usually takes couple of months in Lagos.

If the Medicals/Police Clearance has expired btw this time,she will be required to ve them re-done.For availability of interview date,u need contact the embassy by email.

Did you petition her for a K-1? Is that how she got to the US? There seems to be some confusion on the matter.

between 3-4 months.thats the most but from the embassy down to the interview date is 2 months

2 years is a long time to wait.Seems there has been alot of relaxation from the Petitioner.I havent heard about such.

There r Just too many reasons that accounts for denial

Non Proof of Ongoing Relationship

Inability of Petitioner to show financial suppport

Unfinalised divorce from either Petitioner or Beneficiary

Wrong filing of specified docs.

Getting Married in a K-1 Process.

Lil or No knowledge of Spouse/fiancee

Large Cultural/Age diff in some consulates

Request for more evidence (not an outrite denial)

Child abuse/criminal record against the petitioner

These r just part of it and varies from each countries

For IR-1/CR-1 Visa ,Let your husband go with the copies of documents you submitted for the petition.having enough evidence with is better than lacking them at the time of the interview.

Go with as much as you can lay your hands on.

The Pictures he provided,how many were day..how often were others featured in the Pics?

Was there ever a question he missed?

How often do you guys communicate and via what?

Please does anyone has experience on the procedure when additional documents is requested at the Lagos Consulate. Is it a new interview entirely or eyes only on the requested document. And should i scan the requested doc (the tax document from co sponsor) to the embassy before the 2nd interview date which is in 5th of March? Please help

Documents required should be mailed in original copies/photocopy if available. (Interview is March,u have alot of time).It is best to assumed,its a fresh interview,cos you will need to provide existing documents,plus evidences showing ongoing relationship since the 1st interview.The beneficiary might have same CO for the second interview.Go with all documents like the 1st interview

You have just being delayed and not outrightly denied.You still have a chance and that means trying to see how to work things in your favour.

Visit your husband the more,try spend more time,Mail the embassy to get the whole details and start from there.Lagos gives opportunity for more than one interview...Sorry for the CO words...

and if he turns up with 2 much money..lol
