How did you find out that a DHL package was being sent? Was it the usvisa-info site?

She's been asking if there has been any updates for you so we have been following your situation. It sounds like it will be over for you soon.

I'm not sure if you can open the DHL envelope or not. We haven't got a tracking number yet. Your interview was 2 days before ours so there has been more time for a tracking number to be assigned. I hope we get one soon. It's weird that they didn't tell you one way or another about approval at the interview. Thanks. I agree with everyone else, it has to be the visa. Why would they send an AP slip via DHL? Sounds like congratulations are coming your way soon! Just don't open the package. I believe the visa comes in a DHL envelope with one of the corners clipped so you'll know what it is.

Woo hoo! Finally got the letter!

I didn't realize it got cut off. I was just saying that Alex wasn't that familiar with the letter being sent to the US even though almost everyone on here seems to get it in the US. Then I asked if I get the letter at the consulate and he had to put me on hold to go ask someone. I would think that would be a question that he gets asked 100 times a day. Anyway, he was nice, but like you, I wonder how accurate the information is.

I called and spoke with a guy named Alex Torrance (or Torrez)? Anyway, he confirmed they sent our packet 3 out on 8/25 as well. I figured it would be about the same time as yours. He said they mailed it to my fiancee in Mexico and also said that it's not necessary to wait for the letter before scheduling everything because many people never get it. I'm hearing too that we don't need to wait for the invitation letter to schedule the interview and other appointments. Good to know that everything is as clear as mud right about now.

I haven't called, I think it would make me crazy. I'm hoping for some notification this week.
