Randy & Nana reacted to Krikit in Embarassing... have a question re: criminal record
You are confused. It was one of your posts and another member's which violated the TOS. Those comments were not directed to her but to you and that other person, and anyone else who may be thinking of making a rude and/or judgemental reply. I quoted that OP to reply directly to her post. My first comment had no quoted post above it.... it was general information.
Edited to add: If someone posts within a 2 or 3 minute window within the same thread, the responses will all appear in that one post without the ability to create a separate post. It is an annoying feature of the site and causes a lot of confusion, just as you are experiencing here.

Randy & Nana got a reaction from rainestor in Whats next after marriage in China?
We did it! We were married April 22, received red books then went to nearest public notary for white books. Thanks again for your help.
Now the visa process... I'm a little scared of the process and have many questions

Even if you use a service, you will still have to gather information yourself and send it to them (I believe they will assemble it for you).
People have to decide what they feel is best for them in regards to hiring an attorney or using a service agency for their case. What works for one couple does not always work for another.
My two cents is this, if one feels they can handle the process on their own, they don't need to spend extra money for a lawyer or service agency. On the flip side, if they feel overwhelmed and are totally uncomfortable with the process or if their case is a complex one, then legal or agency assistance may be something for them to consider. Ultimately the person making the call will know what the best call is.
