Thanks. It was in a a4 envelope and not folded although i noticed two staple marks on my certificate but my certificate was in the same shape I submitted it in with.  the passport card was in a first class envelope almost like a new bank/credit card.  Same kind of sleeve as the green card. I am already registered to vote, and just need to visit the DMV and SSA office. 
 
Excited its all done now. 

Maybe for you. But for some of us that have been through so much to get naturalized and had to submit our naturalization certificates that is our proof of citizenship and needed to submit the original with the application, for me it was nice to know where my passport application was. That way I know once i get my passport i will have a primary form of identification so if i lose my certificate of citizenship i can still use my passport. 
Mine is out for delivery.  

I applied in June 2017. Only got naturalized in June 2018 .and I was not even from a “country” being checked, you haven’t waited that long to be honest. There are states like Tennessee where it takes longer.

I was also told if you do a passport book renewal,  you can mail in your passport card as primary form of identification or your passport book which works well if you for example are living abroad and want to hang on to your passport book. So i rather paid a little more now, but now on the long run it’s better. 
 
 

I was told you can send in your most recent passport card or book.  Both serve as primary form of identification. Its on the state department website. Not something i made up. 

I used regular service. The guy at the post office told me that the passport card is a real ID, don’t know if you you some states drivers licenses are not compliant so that’s why I opted for it. It was only $35 and it’s 10 years. In Massachusetts a drivers license cost $125 so it’s a good deal I think.

We were only 60 people, so it may work different in other states. This happened before my ceremony. In Tennessee, they called us one at a time.checked the n445. Verified it, too. They ask if I was still willing to take the oath, bear arms.  
 
Then surrendered  green card,  checked certificate for any errors, signed certificate,  then got to my seat in the order of your certificate. 
 
It was very informal. I was stressed out but they were all very friendly and cooperative.

So so she checked the 5 year box and initialed it. Told me if I applied under the 3 year rule she would have had to look at Everything (marriage certificate, proof of marriage, taxes, bank account, mortgages, etc, ] but because I was here for 5 years, She didn’t even look at my taxes, just looked at my drivers license, and green card.

Oath ceremony notice was mailed today.  i was interviewed on April 23. So it took a month. Will let everyone know once I know my oath date.  

Updated my status. Passed my interview today. Officer was really nice. Asked me where I was from, and recommended me for approval. I applied under the 3 year rule, but when I applied I was already here for 5 years, so she told me I would be eligible under the 5 year rule . So I didn’t have to submit all the paperwork being under the 3 year rule. She checked my drivers license, green card. asked me on the leader of the executive branch, the name of the president, etc. got all 6 questions right . Wrote a sentence in English and had to read one . was in all a great experience. Now just waiting for the oath letter, and date. End is in sight, and the oath will be in Nashville, and not in Memphis so I wont have to drive 4 hours. To to all my fellow visajourners. hang in there. I obtained my CR1/IR1 visa through the US embassy in Seoul.
This website above explained everything, in what you have to do. I simply printed the information out that I got on the website, and took it to the police station. They quickly printed and changed my first police clearance that was not including expunged records.
That was it.
I got my visa. They needed the korean police check translated into English, so just remember that.
