From the title, I knew it had to be a Filipino, so I'm not surprised at all.
I think I've seen even quicker (Filipino) approval on VJ before.
Congrats...but I can see how upsetting this is for
those that have been waiting over 6+ months.

Andie got a reaction from Dohan in question about primary evidence (merged)
No.. it only proves that someone bought a ring... who it was for is not proven and it does not prove that you were together. Primary evidence that you have been together/have actually met ... best - passport stamps, boarding passes, of the person that travelled. Receipts of any purchases or accommodation in that place, photographs of the two of you together at that location.
The passport stamps and boarding passes prove that one or both of you actually travelled and were in the same location at the same time. You can also use things like hotel payment receipts etc. (and the receipt for the ring as an extra if you want to). All those create a picture/proof that you have that relationship.

It can be frustating when someone says they know how you feel when they clearly don't. I know that's what's caused me to jump down people's throats on this board a couple times.

So I called TSC today which is my first call in months, and the lady tells me at least another 2 months to hear anything about our case, well I filed June 30th 2014 and got my NOA1 first week of July 2014. I ask her to transfer me to a Tier 2 and she ask me what did I need to ask them? I said I want to be transfferd to a tier 2 please to ask what is going on with my case. She proceeds to tell me that they will only give me the same information that she gave me, I said fine let them give me that please transfer me. What the heck is going on, now they are the gate keepers??????
I get that this is a long process but can you be honest with me about it don't piss on me and tell me its raining!!!! She says that TSC is a little behind and that they are just processing apps from May 6th what the hell correct me if I'm wrong weren't they doing those back in October 2014? All I am saying is this give people straight answers! i am contacting my State Rep in the morning, this is ridiculous!

Those CSC dates are irrelevant to this question. The situation at TSC is vastly different. There are still many on VJ waiting from June, there have been some from July completed but I haven't seen any for August. There is no consistency or order.... it is totally haphazard. If you call them they provide ridiculous outdated answers. The lack of organisation and procedure is disturbing. The wait is extremely distressing.
I wish you all the best and hope that your turn is soon. (but in date order....of course.. )

Then things have changed. They are processing files way outwith the published timescales. You cannot educate yourself on how they work. Even the agents don't know how they work, when they actually do work. They also do not process files in the order in which they receive them.
Grab a ticket and get in line ... many of us know how you feel. And it really sucks

This is another reason to hate USCIS. They don't even make an effort to appear like they're trying to work within their objective of 5 months for normal processing times. Today is my five month anniversary of filing with USCIS. Tomorrow, I'll make two calls. One to USCIS and another to my Senator's office seeking assistance with getting USCIS to keep its stated objective of five months. I don't care how far behind they are. We've been told the five month mark is when we can make noise, so that's exactly what I plan to do - even if it does nothing more than make me feel like I'm trying to get something done.
USCIS doesn't see the people on the other end of the form. We're the ones who listen to our fiancée cry on the telephone because we just want to be together. That's the message that these government drones need to understand. There are real people associated with the petitions who need them to do their job and do it now.

Yes to everything but the really, by many years, obsolete FC-029.
Follow the guide here on VJ and be sure to read through the I-129F form instructions. The instructions list everything that is required, and the VJ guide just puts all those requirements together for you so you can follow easier. There are even example forms here to help you fill out your forms. The K-1 guide lists evidence you need as proof of meeting, such as passport stamps and boarding passes.

It's obvious I wouldn't send them a letter with that much vitriol in it because I'd be afraid that they would take offense and take even longer to approve our case. The information I have so far about days that TSC will be in the office comes from a Tier 2 agent who was nice enough to open an inquiry for us without giving us the "May 6" date runaround from the website. We are still in the process of waiting for a response to that inquiry which was opened on the 17th - it was assigned to an officer finally on December 22 for a response.
I was using many of the statements as a "collective". The letter (if I ever even intended to send it) would have been addresses to the Director of the center, who most certainly has some say in if petitioners are able to be transferred. Definitely moreso than the Tier 1 and 2 agents. I fully believe the higher ups are refusing to do their jobs, and I understand they have no control over CSC's workload, but they do have the ability to try and even out the processing times. The system overall needs an overhaul and I think much of the issues come down to the fact that it is assigned to service center by state, rather than actual petition workload.

In total agreement here. I made that very point to the person I spoke to on the phone two weeks ago. They didn't care. According to them, "normal processing time" is whatever the latest website update says it is, so as long as it continues to say May 6, we won't be able to submit an inquiry. Which is why they haven't changed it. Bastards.

It is frustrating seeing the Philippine people get approved so fast. We know its because of hurricanes-typhoons, if you search the internet you will see pictures of flattened towns, people living in tents, etc and feel some sympathy and have an understanding of why they get expedited. On the other hand I wonder if its an over reaction...I could be wrong, but after all people are able to communicate, use the internet, send/receive mail, gather documents, get medical exams, and everything else needed in the visa process, and they are doing it in an expedited manner. Doesn't sound to me that these things could be done so quickly if the country is extremely devastated from these disasters.

Yes, Tarzan, like you, we also wish that we weren't petitioning from one of the apparently lesser states so that we could have been assigned to CSC. We would have been married by now, not waiting for our NOA2. Your timeline is pretty similar to ours. I believe that the Philippine expedites (and any other countries added to the list) are partly responsible for the lengthy delays in processing these petitions. Imagine staning in a line somewhere to be served and anyone who shows up wearing a certain type of sweater gets put in front of you and served first ... you are going to wait a lot longer to get to the front of the line. Before anyone gets all excited about this statement, please note that my criticism is directed at the system, not at the people. In addition to the foregoing, I feel that the allocation of the states to each respective service center is imbalanced to begin with. While this will vary at any given time, TSC appears to be handling a far larger volume of petitions, as well as non K/CR applications.

While i think many of us appreciate the volume of petitions the USCIS is receiving, it is unacceptable that some people at getting their I129F approved in 1 month while others are waiting over 6 months, simply based on what state the petitioner lives in! Also, the general consensus is that Filipino petitions are being expedited due to a storm that occurred over a year ago and that seems to be the only reason for it.

It's funny how our friends on here are all frustrated and all "OH MY GAH IT"S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN" then the second they get approved they're like "We got approved!!! Keep the faith everyone! Yours is coming too!"
I'm not making fun ... it's cute how quickly deperation changes to assurance and hope. Don't worry, brett40000, it IS coming and it WLL happen for us!

Seems useless talk with this tier II, don't get upset with that because seems like they are clueless as much we are, actually I guess we know more than them. They didn't finish June yet and July fillers reach 5 months now on Dec which means we HAVE to hear something this month or next. Hopefully this month. The average time for approval is 170 days (according to Josh1987 from June thread, if you guys didn't check what he's doing yet you should totally run there! He is being amazing and really helpful!)
