12 work days or just 12 days? Still waiting for us to get notified that they have sent it to NVC.
12 days in total to send it after NOA2 and now waiting since 9 March for NVC to say they have received it.
-
Ours was received by the NVC exactly two weeks after USCIS sent it, so I would call them once it's been two weeks. I called them two days before that and got the same line about 35 days.
Ok, thank you.
The fact that it took TSC 12 days to send it to NVC after NOA2 was what threw me since it extended the delay so much but Its only another week now so not so bad.

I'm getting confused about this.. the advice we got on our status was that our file was sent to NVC on Mar 09. We still haven't received anything to say it has been received, so is this where I should allow 2 weeks? Most people dont seem to mention when it was sent only when NVC received their file and NVC just say they haven't received it and give me the 35 day line. Just checking.. thanks.

I just checked my visa status online, and it has changed to In Transit!
However - it also says this: "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center." Is this just standard phrasing, or..?
Wow!.. Congratulations!...

I got my case number two weeks after it was sent to NVC!
Thank you.. I guess we're half way there then..

I feel you... NOA2 January 15th and still no interview date - we were definitely on the slow boat from USCIS to NVC to Dublin... we all will get there!
Congrats to those moving further along...
And likewise.. that's a long haul from Jan 15th .. they're so inconsistent. I think I'm getting used to the idea finally, just trying to keep busy.

Hi my NOA2 is on the same date as yours did USCIS told you when they shipped it to NVC.
Yes, we got a message that it went on March, 09. So it took about two weeks for them to send it. I guess we will be waiting two weeks or so, but I still call every day. So frustrating. I don't know why TSC held onto it for so long.
(p.s. I apologize for my almost daily grizzles on this. As if the TSC wait wasn't long enough)

WOW...it's so close! I wish you the best!
I would call them today if you have not done so. It is only a day or two and you get your case number!!
I tried twice today already and now they say 35 days and not 30 days. I guess I'll just keep calling.
Enquired about medical and got all the details, I guess that's about it for now.
Hope everyone is moving along and making progress !

NVC didn't receive our case till March 9 (2 weeks after NOA2)... I just keep getting the same response that it will be 35 days ... any ideas what sort of timeframe is realistic to get the Case # at present?
-
I'm getting really tired of being told by NVC to wait 35 days after receiving NoA2 ... just one long queue to another .. and why it took TSC two weeks to send the case to NVC ???
-
Awesome news, Rio consulate finally e-mailed us! My interview will be on April 7! Already! Omg, so many things to look, book tickets, hotel etc...
Just saw this.. great news and exciting times !

IN TRANSIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohooooo.....3 weeks today!! On it's way to Ghana. So happy!!
Really great news !!

It makes sense that they would not have it yet if it was just sent from USCIS yesterday. Not possible for them to receive on the same day it was shipped since NVC is in NH. I'd track from yesterday and start calling in about a week - that used to be the typical time for NVC to receive it at get it in their system but it is more like two weeks now.
It was NVC that told me yesterday that they had received it and to call back today to get the Case #.
-
That's what I was told yesterday as well. Our case was sent from USCIS Feb 25. Lorvin told me that the 35 days is just standard phrasing though, so I'd call them again 1-2 weeks after it was sent from USCIS. I'm calling them again Thursday or Friday, and will keep you all posted on what they tell me then.
So today is 2 weeks from Feb 25 ... the person I spoke to yesterday sounded more experienced and helpful when she said it was there and they had received it.. I asked her 2 or 3 times that it was definite and she said it was. When I asked for the Case number she said to call back today.. I guess its early so maybe later or in the next day or so. The blunt way in which the person spoke earlier today was what threw me. Thank you all .. I'm feeling better..
-
Ok so I just called now .. to be told that they haven't received our case yet.
After having been told yesterday around 5pm that yes it had been received and was in their system and to call back today for our Case #... The person I spoke to just now said no. I am wrong.. it is not in their system and expect it to take 30 -35 days to reach them.. Angry ?? Yes !!!
