Can anyone tell me if it's possible to track my petition at the NVC stage of the K1 process and if so, how?
This is the website I've been looking at. Help, please!
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==
Don't forget at this stage it is considered an Immigrant visa... at this point it can take up to 2 weeks.. but hopefully sooner

I've run them many times... they often say 40mins and it only takes 20... but if you can.. wait
good luck

Thanks....funny thing is I can see a package on DHL that left for La Paz Bolivia, but the CEAC web-site never shows my case status, says invalid case.
Yes, that's odd.... ours still says NVC but two packs are on their way to our embassy. I'm not sure about the status updates and when you call, they just read the same information as we do. The fact that yours says 'invalid case' is even more confusing.
I guess we will know more in a few days... hopefully if they are still at NVC they wont be for long.

Where is everyone checking there case # with CEAC....my case is always invalid.
Also....what letters does everyone's case number start with I..E. MTLxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks
https://ceac.state.gov.. under Immigrant it is the last one listed... Check my visa application status
The number looks right.. it starts with the letter's to represent your local embassy office. So ours for Auckland is ACKxxxxxxxxxx

Still waiting for NVC.... I couldn't stand the wait and called them. Ours is still at NVC so I'm relying on their updates now since it seems they are accurate.

Are you sure it has arrived? With the DHL WayBill tracking the estimated delivery date is listed at the top right. When it has arrived you should see the name of the person who signed for it.
It went from NVC to Auckland Central.... which is their depot at downtown Auckland (my city and where the embassy is). It won't be delivered till Monday now according to the Waybill (its Saturday here) so I will watch for a signature but it has to be the embassy if its coming from NVC. It could be someone else's since our status still says our file is at NVC and I don't know how speedy they are at updating them.

THANKS!!!! It worked i found my package!!!
So the package moved before the CEAC tracker?
Just asking because mine still shows NVC but there is a DHL package that has gone to my embassy (and we don't have many)..

Have you tried to track it using DHL?
The instructions are here http://www.visajourn...the-us-embassy/
You can track it all the way from origination to destination and also see who signs for it....the web site states that one is only allowed to use it to track a package to, from, or for oneself..but I strongly suggest you use the following criteria EXP 17 MAR 2015A for better results select New Zealand at the bottom.
Ok.. just did. It looks like we might have arrived and the timings match up. The CEAC tracker still says its at NVC. I guess I will know for sure in a few days since it's Friday night here now, but I'd better refine my planning just in case - I have a lot to do suddenly (thank you)

I did track and see my case on Transit...What is that mean? And other question .Do I should get any note in the mail from NVC ? Did anyone get hard copy note from NVC ? ..Thank everyone
Transit means it has left NVC and is on its way to your embassy.. When it arrives at the embassy the status will say "Ready".
Ours hasn't left NVC yet so I don't know about the hard copy or how long it takes to receive it yet.

I called NVC today they told me that my case is still being processing and they gave me an invoice number what does that mean please?...
You need that when you make the payment to your embassy and I think it is used later in the process as well for any payment to Immigration... you pay online with a credit card and you have to put your Invoice number somewhere on that payment advice so they can match it up with your file.

The Beneficiary # on the I-797 (noa2) is not the same as the Beneficiary ID # you get from NVC
You should get from NVC : Case #
Invoice #
Beneficiary ID #
You need the invoice number for when you make payment to the embassy.
