USCIS told my fiancé to submit the lacking documents,send to lockbox.

If in case our application will be returned to us, do we have to pay another $340. Geez! I think we're back at one.

If they have already asked for certain documents or proof of relationship etc. to be sent then that is all they need in order for your petition to be approved - provided the added information meets the requirements. In this case you would not need to start over with a new petition, payment etc

If they have made a specific request and you send those items then normally you would be approved. If you don't respond or they are not happy with the information sent because it still doesn't meet the requirements they will most likely deny the petition and then you would have to start over - new petition, supporting documents, payment etc.

Thank you !.... yes I was dreading finding out where our file had finished up this time... after previous episodes, but it is nearly back to me... hopefully the next day or so but I know its on its way. Then the medical within a day or two and I wait a few days for the interview date.

I wasn't sure whether our embassy emailed my USC fiance or posted me packet 3 but I called today and it has been sent and is due to arrive any day now. She reminded me the mail is slow these days (the postal service cut back frequency of delivery a little while ago)..... breathe..

Yes, you're right. If you can't upload a photo, you just take one to the interview. I didn't realize Amachuma wanted that as an option.

Apologies if I made you panic by now being clear. You haven't done anything wrong. Just go get some US sized visa photos done before your interview.

This is great timing because I'm just completing mine and I have enough recent (right size) photos and dropped my laptop a few days ago and damaged it so can't use the CD. I was thinking I could use someone elses, but I'd rather just take the photos I have with me, then I'm all finished with this part. ... now just waiting for Packet 3

It has already given me the confirmation page with the barcode. I am so worried that may I did something wrong. Oh my God.

Sounds to me like they give you the option to either include the photo or take it with you, so it shouldn't matter if you take a printed copy(ies) if it is closing you out from accessing the information again.

Our packet (from NVC) was delivered to the embassy 3 days ago. I haven't received any notification/packet 3 yet. They dont have my email address. How long would it normally take, or should I be calling them? I called the doctors about the medical but they wont do it till I have the instructions in packet 3.

All good now, we were approved yesterday!

It was a very quick interview less than 5 minutes, surprised me. Now is just wait they delivery my passport

Congratulations Wbeem, Andie, Curlies, Jignid and everyone else who is moving through..I haven't congratulated anyone in a while, so pardon me if I don't remember your names off the top of my head....ours went to status "Ready" today, since my fiance has a daughter who is coming also, we now have two cases 01 and 02, and both statuses are "Ready".

Great news! ... amazing feeling to be at this stage and not worrying constantly. So now you can deal with the consulate and life will be easier. We are waiting for Package 3 which should be sent out in the next few days. More papers and details to sort out but exciting times!
