I'll have to ask my Filipina unit what I think about this topic. Sorry, just yanking your chain with that term. Although she doesn't mind being called my Filipina in the least. Our gap is not far off the 20 year gap. But we're a great match. Took me a while to get her to understand that we are total equals and partners. Still she prefers I make certain decisions, and I've given up trying to change her mind about it. She's happy enough that she can ask for something and I say yes. To me its her making the decision, she just wants confirmation it fits in our budget. Can she be childish? Yes, she certainly can at times, but I'm sure theres been times I've been a bit childish to. My wife is a very traditional Pinay. She wants the man leading, the man protecting her and taking care of her. In return she takes care of me. But she's also learned I expect an equal partner. If there's house work to do, who ever has the least to do at the time steps in to do it. While she cooks most of our meals, when she's tired or busy I jump in and get it done. In other words she prefers we each do the tradition roles, but likes that we need not be locked into them 24/7. That we work together on whatever needs doing to maximize the time we can just enjoy our time together. That said, I do believe she would also be happy with 100% traditional roles. She could easily fill the bill and match the stereotypical Filipina. But that wouldn't mean I'd disrespect her for an instant. She's an incredibly gifted, intelligent and strong woman, no matter what role she fills. She can do things that totally amazes me, then act like the simplest thing is beyond her, because she wants me to do if for her. It just makes her feel good and loved when I do some things for her. Its what she grew up expecting, and now that she is a married woman, she just wants some things the way they were between her parents. Its just how she sees the world should be.
I understand your point about disrespecting their wives, I've seen it here and its just plain wrong, but I'm a little worried you might be telling couples how their relationship should be to. What roles each should play, and the woman should never take the submissive role. My wife loves taking the submissive role, but that does not mean there is anything submissive about her. Its just her comfort zone to operate out of as a base. I accept that as who she is, and she accepts me as who I am. Which is a guy who expects his wife to be his partner and equal.

I find it puzzling how many of the people here are determined that the OP's wife will never change, and can only possibly be stringing him along for a green card. Obviously, according to the OP she has changed a lot since December... in the other thread he said she was the laziest person in the world, in this one he says she's a hard worker, and her boss's star employee. (And hotel housekeeping is hard work). And she could remove conditions on her own in any case if they divorce.
Also, I find it puzzling that it's seen as so selfish and entitled to want to save money to a car for herself. If she is doing all the cleaning cooking and work around the house, and paying $400 a month for food, it doesn't seem so unreasonable to want to keep the rest of the income. After all, hiring someone to do all that housework would cost a considerable amount. Also, if she has a car (and a driver's license) it would save the OP almost an hour and half a day compared to having to drive her. (Unless he doesn't want her to have the freedom of her own transportation?) It seems like it would be a benefit for the household as a whole.
I am sometimes overly optimistic about human capacity, but it seems to me entirely possible that both the OP and his wife have entered into the relationship more or less in good faith, and are two strong-willed individuals with relatively transactional approaches to relationships, and (possibly unconscious) strong expectations of gender roles, relationship norms, et cetera. While it could be read as abusive or exploitative by either side, only the individuals involved really know their own intentions, and how worthwhile living with the other is. It's seems like there as an opportunity for continued learning and adjustment on both sides if each sees it as worthwhile. Ultimately, that's a question that only they can answer for themselves.
People have touched on cultural differences regarding expectation of division of labor, men being providers, et cetera. I think it might be useful to also acknowledge that different cultures and different individuals have very different levels of tolerance for drama in interpersonal relationships.
I do agree that's it better to put off buying/moving to a larger house and having a baby until there is more shared understanding about financial goals, if that ever happens.

Delta allows in cabin pets. In cabin requires the purchase of a carrier approved by that airline that can fit under the seat in front of you. This requirement means only small dogs can travel in cabin.
BTW your dog will need to be vet checked for screw worm before leaving the Philippines. That show be done in less that 30 days before traveling. In more than 30 days before traveling, it will need the rabies vaccine, if it doesn't already have it.

If both people had signed as borrowers or as the responsible individuals, you can still be held responsible for the debt. The court can only order each individual what part of commingled debt each should pay. This does not absolved them of the debt if their former spouse fails to pay their part. The party the debt is owed to can still come after the spouse the family court said was not responsible for it. They would then have to file their own action against their former spouse in an attempt to get them to pay back the debt they had been ordered to pay in the divorce.

something that came in your name is not going to help, it would need to be in her name. The passport stamps, with the biopage will help. Its considered primary evidence of having been in country during that time frame. Dated airline ticket receipts with her name, any other dated receipts showing her name will help too.
