I received a notification today that there had been some activity on my account.  I logged in to this news:
 
Oath Ceremony De-Scheduled.

The PDF that was uploaded says this:

Today they uploaded my Oath Ceremony letter!!  It's going to be in August next month.

I had my interview yesterday in Fairfax, Virginia and passed!
 
My Wife and I arrived about 45 minutes early.  She didn't need to be at the interview, but was there to support me.  The clerk at the desk sternly told me to come back thirty minutes before the interview time so we hung out in the waiting room and I handed in my letter to the clerk, I was told to take a seat and someone would call me.
 
Two people didn't show up when called, they could have been there for any other reason but I was sad for them as this is an expensive process.
 
Anyway, I figured I'd get called earlier because of the no-shows and I was right.  My name was called about 15 or 20 minutes before my interview time.
 
I was taken into a small interview room and I had to do the 'do you swear to tell the truth, and nothing but etc'.  I was then asked for my ID, passport and greencard, the interviewer took them and typed something on his computer.
 
He then took my fingerprints electronically and another photograph.
 
The only small talk we did was he asked me why I got a greencard, I told him I Married my Wife and moved here.
I was asked my Wife's name and I made sure to add her middle name just in case.
 
Then we did the English test, he made a point of saying I'd pass this easily as I'm English.  I can't remember what I had to say but for the written test I had to write 'We pay taxes' on an ipad. Hahahahahaha!
 
Next was the application, he asked me if my parents were American Citizens and then went through the entire 'No' section.  Have you ever been part of a terrorist group / have you ever taken part in genocide' etc.
 
Then we did the 10 questions, I can't remember which ones but I got the first six right.
 
The whole interview was under fifteen minutes.
 
This was in Fairfax, Virginia.  The interviewer asked me if I knew where Harrisonburg was, and I had to tell him I didn't.
 
He explained that the Oath Ceremony would be in that city and not Fairfax.  It's based on the zipcode where you live.
 
I was disappointed that the Oath wouldn't be at the same place and day, but it does mean I'll get another day off work, which is nice!
 
 
 
When I find out when that is and go through with it, I'll post about my experience.
 
 
 
 

You dont need to submit the photographs anymore with the N400 application. They will use the photograph taken at your biometrics appointment for the naturalization certificate. 

Thank you both   I'm just going through everything in the application again, the usual nerves.  April 19th is my interview. 

I didn't send in photos for my N400 application (Oct-2018). My photo was taken at my biometrics but I wasn't asked to sign them at interview. I wasn't asked to produce any photos on the day, but just to be on the safe side, I got my passport photos done and took them with me. I needed them anyway for my USA passport application which I'm planning on submitting after my oath ceremony on 19 April.

I didn’t submit any photos nor take any to the interview with me. I’m pretty sure this is all taken care of with biometrics. I don’t remember actually signing anything for pictures at interview either.

Interview scheduled for April 22, at 9am. 

OMG!!! just got an N400 interview notification!! yessss!!! ( after i am done screaming around the office i will wait until tomorrow to log in to see my interview date lol!)

We just received notice that the interview has been scheduled! The letter hasn't arrived yet and it's not been uploaded onto USICS yet but I imagine it'll be within the next few weeks. Any advice? 

1 week and 6 days after my N-400 \ I-751 interview, I just got an update on the N-400.
 
Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled
We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number IOE980XXXXXX, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony.

I have my interview date!  April 19th.
 
179 days between them receiving the application to the date of the interview.
 
N400 paperwork mailed and received in Texas on the 22nd October. Check cashed on the 26th and on the 2nd November I received by mail my Biometrics appointment which is the 14th November.

Mailed off N400 form, arrived in Texas Monday 22nd Oct.  Check cashed 26th.
Monday 29th received letter acknowledging case and mentions that Biometrics is scheduled, but no date yet.

I did my biometrics today (as scheduled) and time to case completion on myuscis has shortened from 13 to 11 months now.  Case status has changed from “biometrics was scheduled” to “case being actively reviewed”.

Submitted N400 online very early this morning.

Joining this thread, I mailed off my N400 last week and it arrives in Texas today!
