I did a bit of research on this when I left Australia. In the end I just called the company that looks after my super and they said that no, I can't withdraw it. The only way I can withdraw it is when I reach retirement age or if I give up my Australian citizenship.

Here is the linkn for the form he will need to dis-enroll. This is what I did. If you ever move back all he has to do is enroll again. http://www.aec.gov.au/Enrolling_to_vote/pdf/forms/overseas/ER022Nw_0212.pdf

I had a bunch that were not age appropriate and therefore my DS3025 was marked as incomplete eligible for blanket waiver. I sent it in with my AOS and had no problems at all

Congratulations!!!! I had LAX for my POE on K1 too, was really easy, no hassle and as always (from my experience anyways) all of the officers and staff there are really nice and helpful Although, there was one security officer who looked at me weird because i got my boarding pass for my next flight in South OZ, so it looked different to theirs i guess, lol.

I would be careful about sending the P3 too soon though. It can often take a month or more to get the police certificate back, if they schedule your interview too soon you may have to change it.
Btw, congrats about getting the appointment

Y'know, my husband and I had absolutely no issues living far below the 125% poverty level for the first four years that we lived together. (Ages 18-22). We were lucky to be living in places with extremely reasonable cost of living issues. We weathered car issues, as well as some health issues on my part, without much in the way of savings but never had to rely on credit or the gubberment for halp. And I somehow managed to keep from getting knocked up.
We're only five years out of having to live like that and I can't imagine going back. I mean...with a mortgage and two car payments, we couldn't. But being very young and totally un-established in life definitely helped us get by when we needed to.

Most people on this forum used to tell me that I would have it hard and fail because my income is just above the 125%.
I think it depends on the circumstance. Ice and I are fine. We live comfortably. It would be nice to have more extra money, but seriously, we are fine and we do have a lot of extra luxuries. My parents and family helped a lot with our wedding, but as for insurance, rent, payments, etc. I do it all. And I only have an associate’s degree.
I think the system is fine the way it is, because it really depends on the people. Like, do they take in consideration how much debt someone is in? I have virtually no debt, and I know that there are people out there who are millionaires on paper, but are drowning in debt.
I don’ know, I just think that people put too much emphasis on go to school, get a good job, be comfortable. I went to a little bit of school, used my time networking , and landed a pretty good job at a place I like, and now we’re also in the process of starting a new business project. People underestimate people without a degree.

There are far too many variables at play here, and I think anyone who takes a black-and-white view fails to see the whole picture. I, for one, am grateful that the USCIS understands the great variation among its petitioners and tries to accommodate these differences.
I have lived abroad for five years, and would now like to return home to the USA to enter into a PhD program. As a PhD student, I will barely meet the poverty guidelines. I met my husband abroad, and while there are arguments floating around here stating "You could have found your love in the USA," this was not the path my life took. Should I have stopped myself from falling in love with him, because I somehow should have known that I would struggle to meet the poverty guidelines if and when we wanted to move the USA?
My husband's earning potential is high (fingers crossed he will find a job quickly), but is it possible for the two of us to survive on 125% of the poverty line? Absolutely. I have lived on less. However, if the USCIS did not allow me the option to have a co-sponsor, I would probably not be approved and my husband and I would look elsewhere to move.
I think it's fair to say that no two cases are the same. Are there people getting married who can't even support themselves? Sure, but I don't think povery requirements will stop that.
Anyway, I'm just grateful that the USCIS sees each case as individual, and does not apply a one-size-fits-all policy. I would likely fall through the cracks that way.

How can people make it on 125% of poverty level?
I do just fine. I have four kids,(two teenagers and two early elementary) plus me and I make $34,000 a year. We're not starving, no one is wearing rags, my kids have everything they need and some things they don't.
How do I do it? I'm responsible with my money. I own my home,(well the bank technically owns it) I own my vehicles. I pay cash for everything and I have savings for emergencies. I even mange to put a little away every month for retirement.
Sure someone living in New York City probably couldn't get by on my income, but I live in small town, backwoods Tennessee. Where I live the cost of living is cheap.
Do I think the requirement is unreasonable? No.
I make $4,000.00 below the poverty level requirement to sponsor my husband. Would one more person make things difficult around here? Maybe. But we could always tighten the belt and do away with the cable and internet, not eat out, and not take trips until my husband found a job here.
USCIS does not take into consideration I'm a responsible adult who knows how to budget my money. They see my adjusted gross income on my 1040. We had to get a co-sponsor. My sister had no qualms about helping us out. She knows we'll be fine and she will probably never have to help support anyone here.

so how should it be then...would it be better that they lived thousands of miles away from each other instead of together just because they are poor Dont be so quick to judge we are all a day away from losing everything ....people are people rich or poor black or white

I have never been through something like this, but all I can advice you is to remember your worth. Remember you come first. Do not put your foot down on how things are going to be or else he will try and take advantage of you if you let him. I wish you all the luck in the world, don't give up, it's too soon. Keep working on it, but sometimes it's a lost cause. As a woman I am sure you know if it ever gets to that point. God bless.

One thing that i wasn't expecting at biometrics was on the form i had to fill out it asked me what my height was and how much i weigh, i haven't weighed or measured myself in years least of all not in American measurements so the guy at the desk just guessed my height and weight for me, lol.

I have heard that some people have only sent two passport photos and been fine but to be on the safe side i would recommend sending the two for each application. We sent four (we didn't file for AP). We also sent a seperate G1145 for each application because we heard that they get split up straight pretty much straight away. Although, if you only send the one and get the notification then i think it would be safe to assume that they accepted your whole package.

When you call to make the medical appointment just ask them if you can do it without a case number. I had my case number when i had my medical with Dr. Okraglik but when i made the appointment i didn't have it and they said it was fine to do it without
