    I am from Ireland and my wife is puerto rican. We met while she was studying veterinary medicine in Glasgow. Unfortunately I was already planning on going to Australia. I went for 9 months, met up with sheila (my now wife) in thailand on the way hame and decided I would move to glasgow when we got home. we lived together for 3 years before we got married in Puerto rico on the 28th of August 2010. we had loads of trouble getting our wedding certificate so didn't get to start our visa process until the 9th of march 2011. In July this year my wife moved to our new home in Miami and I moved back to Ireland to anxiously wait for my visa to come through.

    Hi there, joint sponsor info was sent 13th October from the US, and I received visa 24th October. I never expected it that quickly, it seems like as soon as they received the i-864, the visa was issued immediately.
