It looks like you're also one of the December filers. They are just now working their way into that stack from what I can tell (based on trends here). I think you'll hear something soon from them with regard to approval or RFE.
The response you will likely get from USCIS with regard to your call in the meantime will be something along the lines of "we're busy and will get to it soon". It's basically a pointless call. A letter will also do you no good. If you don't hear something after the 15 days is up, I would suggest requesting assistance from either Ombudsman or your local Congressman or Senator. You can also request an Infopass if you're near a center.
Ombudsman contact here: http://www.dhs.gov/ombudsman-case-assistance
Congressman and Senator should have a webpage for you to request assistance on matters.
INFOpass- http://infopass.uscis.gov/
Best of luck and let us know if you get an RFE or something that you need assistance with.
Thank you very much for your informative reply. Yes i will let you know guys what will happen to my docs. i hope no RFE... Wish me luck...

How long does it take to get the CFO stamp in my wife's passport if she has already had the seminar? Can it still be done at the airport? Thanks everyone.
Less than 30 minutes she can get the CFO stamp. She needs to go back where she do the seminar. Airpot didnt do the CFO stamp. They just do is to check if u have CFO stamp. If no CFO stamp no flight.

Good morning guys...
I'm just wondering what happen to my case coz its already 8 month i still don't have GC. I called today and they just give me confirmation number and they said follow up after 15 days. Did you try to inquire by letter? If anyone try to inquire by letter what did you put on your letter. Thank you very much.

You should fix it obviously. I'm not sure if you'll be RFE'd. Hopefully they'll realise that you're just not used to being married yet. If you get an interview fix it then.
some post said, they will back whole packet and need to repeat again.. i hope not cross finger... thanks for the reply

My wife and I have been married for 18 months and we just registered the marriage with the Emabassy of the Philippines in Washington, DC. There is no problem or consequence in waiting. The only reason we went is because my wife wanted her filipino passport in her married name, and the Embassy would not do that until we registered the marriage. We were going to my mom's house in Maryland for Thanksgiving, so we spent a day in Washington DC and took care of all of the requirements.
I never heard anything about a 30 day time limit.
thanks for the quick reply.. i read some blog, just need is additional statement why we filed late on our marriage and need notarized. and i thought need attorney to signed it. some of member said its ok in the bank if you have account there sometimes its free to notarized. i just worried coz according to my husband its very expensive to go to attorney for that..i hope in chicago its the same with washington dc.

Hi guys.. Good Morning, Belated Merry Christmas...
I'm just asking about registering marriage to philippine consulate. according to what i read we need to submit or registered our marriage to philippine consulate before the 30 days of marriage. what if we cant submit during that time, what consequence do i need to face it? please let me know what your thought and knowledge about it. coz our deadline probably january 4. too much work and my husband so busy.. thank you in advance..
-
1. Just your husband name, first line. No need to put NONE in the rest, it would be really annoying.
2. You check "You can understand in English" before this line already, just leave it bland.
3. Please leave it blank.
thanks for the reply... god bless you

How do I register my name at an address with the USPS?Tried asking them and they had no idea what to do with me. I heard that the SSA won't mail your card unless your name is registered at the postal address where you live. I just landed in the US and have no idea what to do.
hi. my hubby working in USPS, he just put may last name in the mailbox in the small piece of paper so the mailman know you lived on that address. coz your still using your maiden name not your husband last name..

Have you tried calling all the doctors that serve the Lincoln area in NE?
I had to call 5 places in Omaha and 2 in Bellevue before I found someone who would do just the vaccination part of the medical. Unforutnatly that place I went to is no longer in Bellevue and moved into Omaha, it was through UNMC Physicians though. Maybe look and see if there is someone on the list that is a UNMC Physician and try giving them a call. You will probably have to drive in to Omaha to find a civil surgeon that will do the medical without it being a full medical.
yes i do that to call surgeon in lincoln but sad to say just 5 clinic accredited the 2 clinic is no vaccination and 2 clinic is need full physical exam. most of listed is already in omaha. where in omaha did you go? what the name of doctor? please help me....
-
Hi guys.. i'm here again asking help..me and my husband look for the Civil surgeon we can do my incomplete vaccination and transfer the DS 3025 to I-693. some surgeon said i need to do another physical examination and Tuberculosis test.but base on what i read if your medical is not yet over 1 year you dont need to undergo another physical exam. it is right? i just had my medical examination last august 15, 2011 at st. lukes.. please help me who lived in lincoln and already finish in vaccination, where did you do your vaccination..please i really need your help guys.

hi there... we married yesterday.. and i just noticed that i didnt signed to the marriage contract during the ceremony just the few witness. i ask my husband about that, and he said when we apply married license we signed already to marriage contract, but i used my maiden name when i signed the papers. how can i change my signature to my married name? and can i change my name in SSN dont have yet our marriage license?
-
Well that would be great advice and i agree with it, however when we log in and are on the website it just says...no appointments are available....great. The letter states when you log in and select immigrate perm. to the US, you'll be prompted to select an interview time and schedule. we do that and it just does not prompt us and says....no appointments available. a little confusing to say the least.
i had interview last aug 15, 2011 at us manila emabssy.. i didnt get any letter for appointment. we just recieve the case number.then when i got my case number...i pay visa fee in BPI then my fiance call usemabssy to for appointment... its fast..most online appointment didnt work... they just ask you to log on that site to see the entire requirements during interview...
-
Hi everyone. would appreciate your help regarding Payment of Visa Application Fee to BPI.
1) Would it be possible that somebody or my mother could pay to BPI on my behalf? or I have to go there and make payment personally?
2) Is it the original passport they needed or a copy would be enough to accept the payment?
Thanks in advance ;-)
yes your mother can pay your visa on BPI... just give authorization to make sure.. and bring your passport.. original and xerox they need... and your mother make sure have valid id too.. just tell to them K1 visa.. good luck
-
thanks for the reply.... i really appreciated it...
We plan on vaccinations as soon as possible, and then hunt down a Civil Surgeon who will transfer the shot records. SS card in 10-15 days (need a day off to do so), will hold off on other forms of ID until after the wedding, no real need for them.

Where is the best place to go for seminar...and do i need originals BC and CENOMAR again?
you need 2 valid id. like sss, company id or school id. as long as government issue. if you don't have that, you can have NBI xerox. if you from quezon city i will suggest to you to go in Good shepherded convenent. 1043 aurora blvd. quezon city ( at the back of LRT 2 katipunan station.) take from a bus or fc going to cubao. then take LRT going to katipunan station. then you can ask there where is the Good shepherd. they will conduct CFO seminar everyday.and prepared P 650 pesos. goodluck
