Nothing to suggest Lawyer did anything remiss.

My impression is that I 601a's are looked at more generously than I 601's but maybe that is because they often have more complicated issues. Anyway the Lawyer got the I 601a approved.

If I was a Lawyer I would be pretty upset with a Client that had self sabotaged the process.

I also wonder what was declared at the time of the Medical about drug usage, a potential complicating factor.

Anyway it is what it is and next will be the interview and then you can go from there. Not sure what a new Lawyer can be expected to do.

You are an LPR until a judge revokes that status or your relinquish that status. You’ve nothing to lose by simply getting a plane to the USA and seeing what happens.  Legally you age to be admitted.  The only questions are will be admitted as:

    1. an arriving alien. If so, expect your green card to be seized, a temporary I-551 given to you that serves as a green card until your case is decided, and a notice to appear.  In immigration court.  Lethally should should then be released into the USA to carry about your business which would include hiring an attorney.

    2. a returning resident.  Under this scenario you are in great shape.  However given you were gone 7 straight years, you should stay in the USA for file continuous years, file for U.S. citizenship, get your U.S. Citizenship and Passport, and then you will be free to travel.

    Things working in your favor;

    * you were a minor when you left the USA and had no choice about leaving.

    * while you are 5 years past age 18 when you presumably were free to come back to the USA, the past 2-3 years of that were during the pandemic when it was difficult to travel.  So realistically you would have been 18-21 or 18-20 when you could  have traveled. Understandably it can take a young person from a developing country time to get money together to be able  both travel and have a few months expenses saved up while establishing themselves as an adult in an expensive developed country.

I think it is probable you will be admitted as a returning resident. I would enter through SFO and use the kiosks that are usually operating.  Travel light.  Carryon  bags only.  You want clothes: go to a thrift store once you arrive in the USA.

If you get sent to secondary inspection, refuse to sign I-407, which is a form for “voluntarily” relinquishing your LPR status.

Folks, there has also been an immigrant visa interview, during which the Consular Officer was not convinced the relationship is bona fide.  Sometimes they are wrong.  Without a detailed report of the entire interview experience, we can only speculate.  But....from what we DO know, it doesn't look good.

Ask to talk to a supervisor. Most people are morons; the post office is no different.
I would not expect them to be cognizant of the many nuances in immigration law. I'm sure if you wanted their opinion as to whether your children are US citizens then you would have asked them for it.
You may also want to contact the State Department and inform them of your difficulties in applying for a passport.

If I were you I would firstly try to have a frank and honest conversation with your wife.
Ask her what she wants, why she is unhappy, does she want to continue with the relationship? If so; what could you improve on, what does she think she could do differently, what could you both work on?
If you cannot do this, if it is too hard to talk to her at this point look into counselling. Generally you can get counselling from an intern for quite cheap. We did some pre-martial counselling with an intern who just finished her degree and we got it for 1/3 the normal fee.

If it was reversed you'd be seeing "thats abuse divorce him" all over the place. A woman goes ballistic, yelling, throwing and breaking objects aimed and a man and the man is supposed to be more understanding.
She had a baby so its ok for her to abuse him.
She has her period, so its ok for her to abuse him.
He's bigger than her, so its ok for her to abuse him.
She's a woman and men abused women for centuries, so its ok to abuse men. Actually that was my ex wife's opinion and she stated it more than once.
I'm actually all for doing everything you can to save a marriage, but abuse giving excuses for and ignored cannot be solved.

Here are my ideas to help you build the best case possible...
    From your fiancé:
    - I-134
    - Six months of current pay stubs
    - ITR's from the last 3 years.
    - Tax transcripts from the past three years
    - W-2's / 1099's from the past three years
    - Employer's letter
    - Notarized letter stating his promise of support
    - Updated letter of intent to marry
    And from his mom:
    - Proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residence (U.S. passport?)
    - I-134 and I-864
    - Six months of current pay stubs
    - ITR's from the last 3 years
    - Tax transcripts from the past three years
    - W-2's / 1099's from the past three years
    - Employer's letter
    - Notarized letter stating her promise of support
    Also needed:

I just want to share this personal story of mine. My husband and I met up with our choice of officiating minister. But before he approved our request, he made us take home an "assignment". For a whole week he told us to discuss a lot of topics and ask each other questions that will evolve around us once we're married. Ranging from our favorite food to what our reaction will be when we get home to find a very messy house - the sky was the limit. I thought the assignment was silly since I know my fiance like the back of my hand. Turns out, it was extremely helpful. It helped us open doors to new views and discussions.
I believe that the foundation of a good relationship is Communication. It's important to be in tuned with your partners' feelings especially if that person is joining you in a whole new world. There'll be misunderstandings, squabbles, and fights but that doesn't mean the whole relationship is a failure. It's only a failure when both people give up on it without putting up a fight to save it.

All my life I grew up in the Philippines and I only know Filipino dishes.
Leaving my home means leaving some dishes and adjusting to a new life, new food, new culture and new friends.
I am a big fan of Korean, Japanese and Italian food and of course I am pro in terms of cooking Filipino dishes but none of these countries will be my new home but its America. People Im going to meet and brush elbows with are different races but with American taste.
Now, I am wondering what are these dishes that most Americans do love? Simple or complicated dish they usually serve on the table?
