The CO does this day after day. They can do it in their sleep. They know the minute you step up to the window what they are facing. It is the first 30 seconds of that interview that the decision to approve or deny is made. They can ask for anything they want, to include anything you didn't  bring. So don't worry. I agree with Niklr. Relax. You are dealing with the US Government. 

Once you obtain your work permit and finish trucking school the sky is the limit. Every trucking company is hiring. There are 200 jobs for every available driver. Maintain a clean background, driving record and DO NOT take any drugs. You are looking at $50,000 - $60,000 your first year. Once you have over one year experience you can walk into any trucking company in the US and get hired. But after reading your original post, getting a visa based on work as a truck driver is going to be extremely difficult. Doctor, nurse, engineer, entrepreneur, investor; these are the occupations they give work visas for. Sorry for the bad news. You can give it a shot though.

So just for clarification, a K2 can become a USC if they are under 18 and there biological parent is naturalized.

I thought a K2 can derive citizenship through K1 who is naturalized if they are under 18? That is what the N-600 states, I think?

The forms that you fill out ask you if you are legal able to marry. You were. You answered YES. That is all they need to know. USCIS could care less about the mushy stuff.

So, at the AOS interview, my kids will be hand-cuffed and taken away? This sounds extreme. I have learned that if the K-1 is approved the K-2 is automatically approved based on the K-1 approval. Our marriage is legit. Easy to prove that. All I-94s expire prior to the interview, so therefore all AOS candidates can be arrested the day of the expiration. I don't think the ICE personnel are waiting for all K-2s to change status. If anybody has any first hand accounts of K-2 deportations due to late filing of AOS, please respond.

Sorry, but you are 100% wrong. The K-1 is an exception to that rule. Search DS-160 and it will bring up the US State Department website. It will explain that the DS-160 is used for temporary travel to the US. The K-1 is not used for temporary travel although it is a non-immigrant type visa. Other visa types are under that same exception. Again, I am sorry, but the State Dept makes the rules and the rules you are citing are not correct.

I feel for you man. I think you are stuck between a least costly cancellation of the current I-129F and a refile or the more costly and more time consuming appeal. Please, please, please thoroughly study this website for a minimum of one week before proceeding with the new K1 petition. I went solo just like you and I thought I would get denied, but at least I had the basic documents which saved my rear. There is a wealth of knowledge here and you would be foolish to ignore it again. Take my advice; start over. At least this time, you will have peace of mind, knowing that you have crossed all your Ts and dotted all of your Is. But, you can appeal, and it will most likely take you just as much time as a refile and cost you plenty.

Find out, by going to some truck stops in your area and talk to couples who are driving together. What have you got to lose but a few hours of your time.

That is HOGWASH. Trucking companies only care about one thing; getting those idle trucks moving. There are ten jobs for every driver now. Wearing a turbin will have absolutely no bearing on getting a job as a driver. The product must get to market. End of discussion!!!

$40,000 is a whole lot of money if it means the difference between having a successful AOS and going through removal proceedings. What is the difference between an unemployed garbage collector and an unemployed nuclear physicist? Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!
