When you check-in for your flight in the US, use your US Passport.  Once you depart the US, if you have a connecting flight, use your Ukraine International Passport.  When you enter Ukraine and go through Ukraine Passport Control, use your Ukraine International Passport. 
 
When you check-in for your flight departing Ukraine for the US, use your US Passport.  As you go through Ukraine Passport Control, use your Ukraine International Passport.  Once you depart Ukraine, if you have a connecting flight to the US, use your US Passport.   When you arrive in the US and go through Customs & Border Patrol, use your US Passport.
 
 

If you are transiting through Canada (US to Ukraine):  When you check-in for your flight in the US, use your US Passport.  Once you enter Canada, you will need to go through Canada Customs.  Use your US Passport going through Canada Customs.  When you check-in at the gate for your flight departing Canada, use your Ukraine International Passport.  If you have another connecting flight (Amsterdam for example), use your Ukraine International Passport.  When you enter Ukraine and go through Ukraine Passport Control, use your Ukraine International Passport.

Not sure how accurate this is, but Eastern European laws tend to be loopholey. I hope someone with more direct experience on this matter will chime in.

I've had a string of bad marriages.  The first 2 were K1, the last one I met here and did the AOS.  It's so hard to know someone when you're under a time limit to get married, and it's very hard to know a person before living with them.  The first one I was married to for 5 years and had a child.  The last 2 lasted less than a year.  One returned home, the other (who got AOS) wants to stay.  They were all Russian and for whatever reason I could not imagine being with anything but a Russian.  I'm to the point where I'd like to try again, but am really concerned about the immigration process, do you think I'd have a hard time with it? 

We were glad that my then fiancée scheduled her interview 3 weeks after her medical exam.  Because of the findings on her chest X-ray, she was instructed to return the following week for 3 consecutive days of sputum tests (Cleared on day 3).  This was a bit of a hardship since she lived in Kharkov and had to return to Kiev for the additional testing.  Moral of the story: give yourself a window of time between the medical exam and the interview.

Don't worry, I'm almost 14 year's Lena's senior. Nothing was mentioned during her interview in Kiev. Happy journey! :-)

Oh no! It's Inspector Gary Clouseau! Last time he tried this he harassed a poor abused woman and told her she was a fake. He used his "super language skills" to tell her that she couldn't speak English that well. And he never came back to say sorry when he was proved wrong, Poor woman.

I would be hard pressed to argue about the "living art". Ain't that the truth! I was really impressed with Gorki Park. We went there at night and the huge ferris wheel is all lit up.
We ate a little traditional Ukrainian restaraunt near the Pushkin Theatre, just up the street a couple blocks and around the corner from "Architect's Square" on Pushkinskaya.
The veal was absolutely out of this world! I was beside myself! It ranks as among the best meal in any restaraunt anywhere. The total for four people with two glasses of wine and soup for everyone (Akroshka soup...cold soup, very tasty!) was 342 UAH...$42.00 !!!!!!!!!!!! Great service from a smoking hot blonde waitress. I gave her an extra $15 for a tip. Still a bargain for four people. The only bad thing? A stray cat wandered in and started rubbing against our legs under the table. It is to remind you that you ARE in Ukraine.
Seriously, we are planning a trip back around New Years, the decorations in Freedom Square are incredible (based on photos I saw) and I REALLY want to go to the history museum, it will be finished by then.

When I was in Ukraine last time, we went to a local popular computer retailer and bought a netbook with a webcam. It cost the equivalent of 320 USD. This is a better solution in my opinion.
