Kim.D got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Interview in London
I don't have any experience with what happens in this situation, however, it does sound like a short amount of time between your medical and interview. If it was me I would probably call DOS just to double check that the information regarding the interview was correct. I was told by the US embassy in London that they don't update their systems as frequently as DOS, although I know they told you they had the information maybe it would be worth just double checking with DOS?
Hope everything works out for you

When I had a problem with getting my SSN and was getting nowhere with the lady that was dealing with me I emailed the SS website. I told them the issue and they emailed me back and actually called me, they were very helpful and told me what to do and eventually it worked out. I have read so many different things on here that the Social Security offices tell people that are all contradicting. I would suggest emailing the SS head office and tell them your issue. Here is their website www.ssa.gov
It's amazing the different issues people have. I had no problem getting my married name on my card, my issue was the fact they said I wasn't allowed a SSN until I received my green card even though I had at least 2 months on my I-94 left.
    Good luck.
