  1. Thanks for sending. I understand the document requirements, my specific issue is what is the procedure when an original document approved by the NVC (uploaded to CEAC) is lost. Do you just take a new original to the visa interview or do you upload the new original document (in this case marriage certificate) to CEAC. Thanks
  2. Hello Friends, Parent in law has I-130 interview in Havana. Per the pre-interview process, NVC approved all the civil documents required for the interview. One of the requested documents is the petitioner's marriage certificate. At the time of submission, we had the original marriage certificate. 4 days ahead of the interview, the marriage certificate was unfortunately lost. We haven't successfully received guidance on the next step here. We have another official marriage certificate but it is not the same format (Cuba changed what the certificates look like) as the document submitted to the NVC. Do we reupload the marriage certificate (would that delay the process?) or do we just take this new but differently formatted marriage certificate for review during the interview? Thanks!
  3. Great to hear. What ended up happening is that I entered the assets correctly. In the assets section - I entered 2 checking account balances. However, I reported more assets in the total assets section than the sum of balances of the checking account (due to the error involving entering the retirement accounts). I however attached the evidence for the checking accounts and retirement accounts. Hopefully that accounts for error, however, the financial assets section is incorrect.
  4. Hello Folks! We recently submitted a i-134A online for mom in Cuba. There was a technical error while filing out the application (a financial asset I entered to support the beneficiary was not saved in the final application). What sucks is that our income is high enough that we don't need financial assets to support Mom and fulfill the criteria for the parole. I tried to login to USCIS and edit the application but that action is not an option . We've contemplated resubmitting another application but I imagine that will delay processing . Do folks have suggestions for addressing this? Thank you in advance
