  1. There is a backlog for K1 interview dates, I've seen 5 to 8 months wait time. CR1 dates are a bit faster at 2 to 5 months depending on how busy the consulate is with DV visas.
  2. This is identical to the one my wife received upon entry. She already got her green card.
  3. Paid fee: April 27th, 2023 POE: May 12, 2023 (Dulles IAD) Card is being produced: June 26, 2023 Card was mailed to you: June 29, 2023
  4. Can you please share when you entered, paid the fee and the port of entry?

That's exactly why they didn't ask about my W2 or questions about income/tax.

      yes,  they already knew

if there was an issue , the CO asks for joint sponsor

the CO has the final say on income/ the Co gave us a hard time because i don't pay taxes on a good part of my anunity,  SSA and retirement and i am way over the limits

Yes, I believe SSA, or self employed income can trigger more questions in many scenarios, but again each case is unique and different and as you said, it's up to the officer to ask for more evidence or for a co sponsor. In my case, all my income was under W2 and it's well above the limit.

  6. Trust me, I know how they are, my wife called all of them multiple times and no one even answered, I called from the US with my US number and they all answered during the same time my wife called, they're corrupt, I know for some people, it's hard to believe, but I know this for fact, it's not an analysis or assumption, it's a fact from close friends and family members who paid the staff to get an earlier appointment after they were told nothing is available for a month or 2. I do agree that Fihri at least is professional during the exam, I can't speak of the others.
  7. Sorry for what happened to your fiancé, I think you should contact the consulate to make sure they know ahead of time in case he retaliates against your fiance. I know for a fact that those 3 doctors and their staff are rude, when i called them to schedule an appointment, Janah said he's booked for April, I asked about May, they said they can't tell me now, and i would have to call back in May, similar stories with other doctors, after I contacted the embassy explaining that my expedite request is pretty much useless since i can't even schedule the medical until June or July, the consulate made one of them provide an appointment to me, the funny thing is, I got it in April where that doctor told me she will be on vacation, i know many people that have to bribe their staff to just get an earlier appointment. In my opinion, the consulate is creating this issue because of limited doctors and the huge number of DV candidates, they should expand the physicians' list to loosen up their power.
  8. Keep in mind that USCIS understands that consular processing limits certain types of evidence, such as join accounts. You can submit proof of time spent together, such as photos, hotel and airline confirmations, money transfers (if applicable), being the beneficiary in life insurance or retirement plans, phone record, you do not need every single type of proof, just do your best and do not over think it. Good luck.
  9. They want the last shot of the vaccine to be done at least 2 or 3 weeks before the medical appointment.
  10. Thanks, I hope this time they accept your document.
  11. I just checked my CEAC account and found a message being DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED, I haven't received the email yet.
  12. I think you will most likely have the interview in June and there is a small chance in July, the last DQ I saw with an interview in May 9th was Jan 18th.
