  1. In that section I put a very short explanation then we add a note with a little more detail (not much longer, 4 short paragraphs ). Our intention was to avoid getting a RFE and it worked for us
  2. You don't need to send a copy of your BC to USCIS with the 129F form. You will need it for the interview at the embassy in your country, and in that case all documents not in English or in the official language of the country must be accompanied by a certified English translation. After you get married and you start your AOS in the USA then you will need the BC to be legalized, translated and with apostille.
  3. From the 129 form instructions: Translations. If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign a certification that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English. The certification should also include the date, the translator’s signature and printed name, and may contain the translator’s contact information. Copies. You should submit legible photocopies of documents requested, unless the Instructions specifically state that you must submit an original document. USCIS may request an original document at the time of filing or at any time during processing of an application, petition, or request. If USCIS requests an original document from you, it will be returned to you after USCIS determines it no longer needs your original. The day of the interview at the embassy you will have to show them the original divorce decree i-129finstr.pdf
  4. I filled two because I was not sure. One with my name in the Part 2 Information about the beneficiary and my info + my kid as beneficiary's child in the Part 2. Beneficiary's Income. Then I filled another 134 with my kid's name in the Part 2 Information about the beneficiary. I sent both forms to the embassy (Argentina) and the day of the interview they only kept the form filled with my name, and gave me back the other so if you fill just one form and add your k2 in the beneficiary's income with $ 0 financial contribution that should be fine.
  5. Amazing! I will move in January 19th after my kid graduates from school. I'm literally counting days down

  13. Hello! June filler here I-129 F Sent - June 14 I-129 F Received - June 16 I-129 F - Notice Date - June 21
  14. I go to the U.S. every year since 2016. We sent the I-129F on June 16th 2022. I went to New York with friends on July 10th and got asked the normal questions: reason of my visit (tourism), how long I was going to stay (1 weeks) and where (hotel). The only different question was that the officer asked me to show her the return ticket. She did not ask nor mention about the k1 visa. On December I will go to see my boyfriend and stay with him for 2 months so I wonder what kind of proof of ties to my country can I show them (if they ask for) that they will understand what it is, because the apartment rental contract or my salary receipt is in Spanish 🤔
