    Hey you guys how does the port of entry work in Tijuana for k1? Can I drive straight through with my fiancé or does she have to walk through a separate lane?

    Can you guys help me! My fiancés interview is next Thursday and I have a couple questions. One is do you need to bring any documents to the actual interview or do we submit everything the day before the interview and have no documents during the interview. Also can we choose where the visa will be sent to? Because as of now mines is supposed to be sent to the CAS in Mexico City I was wondering if it can be sent to somewhere else closer since my fiancé is in Michoacán. Also what are the question asked at the interview.

    So question does does the nvc case status turn to ready before my fiancé gets email of interview day or is the at the same time? Also if your case status does come first how long does the email take from then on usually??

    So once Mexico City embassy receives your case and sends you an email does the email have an appointment date already set? Or what does the first email from the embassy instruct??

    I filed my ds160 right after getting nao2 today nvc sent my case to Mexico will there be an issue??

    Umm I’m not sure honestly my ds160 says it’s going to be in Ciudad Juarez but my nvc case number says is pointing towards Mexico City. Ciudad Juarez consulate still states that all k1 visa are still going through Mexico City.

    Just received an email from nvc saying that Mexico City embassy has stopped all routine visa procedures. How often does this happen??

    Idk but this morning after sending out an enquiry last week nvc replied to me confirming that they receive my petition but that it will stay at nvc. They also said that Mexico City consulate has stopped all routine visa operations due to covid 19 and they don’t know when they will resume operation. I’m guessing I will wait for them because I think my interview will be scheduled there not Ciudad Juarez.

    So my k1 visa petition is currently sitting in nvc at the moment and so i called nvc two days ago and got a hold of someone. The lady told me that Mexico City is currently not taking k1 visas at the moment not sure why. Has anyone else heard of this?
