No we had to jump through hoops to get a faint copy of the form from the hospital in Egypt, so far no RFE for that, just proof of marital life together

You will call the hospital to book your medical, but they will ask for your packet 4 email for proof, at least that’s what they did with us and He used the Anglo hospital.. JUST BE SURE AND ASK FOR THE COPY OF DS-3025.. you will need it for AOS in the US..

This is where you complete the DS-160 and the IV address registration. The embassy will schedule the interview for you once you send in all the required documents, .. I see that you are IR1/CR1, so I don’t know anything about that process.

You can do this now.

Go to CGIFEDERAL website and click on new application/schedule appointment.. then click on IV address registration and follow all the instructions from there until you get to the page that has 2 barcodes on it.. as for the time frame the embassy in Cairo will ask you to bring to the interview

This is the address delivery registration(has 2 barcodes on it) , and the SLS confirmation page we just printed the email they send you from SLS when you register

You have to have that receipt to send with everything else they ask for in packet 3, when status changes to ready email cairoiv@state.gov and give them your CRO case Number and ask for further instructions, they will respond with packet 3 instructions

Packet 3 is the first email you get from the embassy with instructions on how to pay your visa fees, and what is needed to be sent to the embassy by courier service.. packet 4 will tell you to get the medical done and your interview date and time, with instructions on what to bring to the interview

We sent ours in 12/23 and they received on 12/27 didn’t get the text alert until 1/4.

Did you receive your NOA2 from USCIS in the mail? If not you may want to let them know of the change. I think once your case is forwarded to the embassy, you can inform the Embassy of the change.

Really all you can do is wait for an in transit email from them.. your embassy may be backlogged or may not have requested any.new cases yet. The wait is horrible! But just hang in there!!

@Mahmoud Kassab @Laura and TahaI’m not sure where to get the family registration… it wasn’t asked for at our K1 interview, but I think others have been asked for it.. My fiancé used the Anglo American Hospital. He said it was very busy, but was there about 2 hrs total. we were given like 18 days notice of the interview, so not much time since they recommend 3 weeks prior to the interview. Medical on October 2, and received results on October 9, interview on October 11. My fiancé showed up at the Embassy @730 for an 8 am appt. He had no issues, and was finished by 9am.. I would recommend 45min to 1 hr before
