  1. You can have your petitioner write to their congressperson to let them know that there has been a significant increase in I-129F processing time, and to ask them to consider talking with whoever is in charge of USCIS... (there's an abysmal chance of this working but there are other petitioners doing this too so maybe at some point they will pay attention?? There's also this petition going around: https://www.change.org/p/speed-up-the-uscis-k1-fiance-visa-processing-time but the chance of this working is also abysmal. ) USCIS seems to be doing pretty alright with work based petitions, and it would be really nice if I-129F petitions can get the attention work based petitions are getting... And it's crazy that CR1 route is faster than K1 route now. 😭
  2. You can always start your own petition if you think you have a good idea.
  3. If what she has is life threatening and she has exhausted all possible options for treating it that does not involve entering the US, and entering the US is possibly the only way to save her life, and you can prove all this to USCIS, you may have a chance at expediting your case. USCIS usually does not expedite I-129F cases unless the petitioner is a member of the US military and they are getting deployed somewhere or they could at anytime. It's really difficult to expedite I-129F... pregnancy don't even quality as a reason for expediting the petition and gee, I don't even want to imagine handling pregnancy without a partner looking after me. I feel really bad for people who are/were pregnant during the I-129F process... That is so much pain and discomfort you have to handle all by yourself.
  4. Hello, I think it would be a good idea for us all to support these petitions on Change.org: https://www.change.org/p/speed-up-the-uscis-k1-fiance-visa-processing-time https://www.change.org/p/reduce-uscis-application-processing-times-inefficiencies
  5. I don't think so. The health exam is to check if the beneficiary could potentially be a risk to themself or to others. Seeing as how a tumor is not infectious, I don't think you have anything to worry about in that regard.
