  1. Hello everyone! I just passed my interview and oath ceremony is in one hour! (same day) 🎉🎉🎉🎉. This is my timeline Good luck for the ones who didn’t have their interview yet and congratulations for the new citizens 🎉🙏
  2. I got my interview date 🥳🥳 Well kind of ..they contacted me to inform me to choose dates from the week of sep 24tb till December 10th. they contacted me 33 days after I did my biometrics. I can get it as early as next week!! But I’ll push it further as much as I can for now.
  3. Extremely helpful! Now I’m joining the thread 😀 applied for citizenship 14 days after entering USA as a permanent resident. Timeline: entered USA June 23rd applied for N400 on July 7th received notice July 8th biometrics appointment scheduled for August 16. left USA with US husband and kids last week and now I have to fly back with my temp stamp in passport since I haven’t even received my physical green card yet (being produced). I’ll keep you updated.
  4. Ok so my case is different. I applied for citizenship 14 days after entering USA as a permanent resident Entered USA on June 23rd just last month Received social security July 7th US citizen husband received a job offer that’s hard to say no to and have to start work in august! After an online search we found out I’m eligible for Expedited Naturalization and I applied immediately even though I haven’t even received my actual green card in the mail yet. expedited citizenship is for the spouses of United States citizens employed by certain employers overseas, to expedite their applications for citizenship and naturalize without having to meet the residency requirements normally required to become a United States citizen. My IR1 interview was on march 6th this year but I don’t remember biometrics taken. ideally it’s better to wait to get biometrics done then fly out of the country but we couldn’t wait and already left USA since i don’t mind flying back and forth for biometrics and interview/oath appointments.
  5. Ok update applied on July 7th received notice July 8th biometrics appointment scheduled for August 16.
  6. When did they take your biometrics during your immigration journey? At what stage?
  7. Is the biometrics waiver only for applicants who are removing or removed conditions already? Or is it for all applicant?
  8. Hey everyone🤍 I have applied for citizenship on July 7th and received a payment receipt notice on July 8th that’s it so far. I applied to be processed at Washington DC field office.
  9. It happened to us too! Atlanta airport. the officer was talking to us like he knew who we were before we even handed him the passports. I asked him “how did you know” I asked him that twice because he also said info about my husband which was kind of crazy like how would he know? He just kept smiling then said welcome to USA. Must be facial recognition but wow I’m impressed that’s super high tech comparing to where I come from 😅feels unreal.
  10. When travelling with My US citizen husband I go through the citizens line with no issues even though I travelled with a tourist visa.
