  1. Haha figured it was a firm charge. It is what it is.
  2. I moved in the middle of my I-129F application. I had to change my address, i did not really know how to approach it so i called my lawyer and they charged me 35 dollars to change it. Not sure if this was a fee from the firm or for the USCIS, but whatever i did it anyways and had it changed.
  3. So it did get updated. And when that happened it directed me to a visa waiver document. I could not move forward after that. I pressed the continue button on the page and now it's taking me back to the part where it seems i have to submit a receipt payment again.
  4. I completed my B2 visa application. I have paid the visa fee at the bank. I logged in and received a visa waiver confirmation and visa renewal, I do not qualify for a waiver, and this is my first visa so I am not renewing. Now When I log in it says they have not received my receipt number. "No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for. ( receipt number)" I am receiving this error. Are they making me pay again. Why, when i have proof of payment. I just need to schedule it.. Seeking some help if there is any. It's for the Thailand embassy in Bangkok. I'm thinking I have to pay again.
  5. This is probably a silly question but has anyone done the b2 visa from the bangkok embassy? The estimated appointment time is 25 days and I am curious how accurate that is. Does that really mean the possibility of getting a b2 visa is about 1 month, I am aware of denial rates just curious if anyone has applied for b2 in bangkok recently.
  6. I see. Thank you. So basically if my income is US based I am solid!
  7. A rather silly question. As these backlogs are massive is it possible for me the petitioner in the k1 visa process to apply for work and travel and work in my beneficiary/ fiancé's country while waiting for our k1 to process. I'm US and she is Thai
  8. Thank you for the response. Sorry i thought i read everything. Since we're under a k1 visa it will provide a difficult task. But idk i feel that when she shows how serious she is and doing anything illegal would cause the k1 to be denied that should be plenty of reason to let her visit. I think it's just best I visit when i have the PTO lol. Easier for me and less hassle
  9. Okay seems i already knew the answer appreciate the responses!
  10. Ive applied for k1 visa recently. I would love it if my fiancé can get a tourist visa and visit me again. Now i am aware you can do this but what troubles me is can she get accepting having no job and no income? I think i have read although unsure of the validity that you must hace bank statements or proof of assets that show your tied to your home. I guess my question is, is her denial rate high with no strong ties to her country besidee family.
