Hmm so they started early then? Because I started having this problem last night 12/11. The release date you posted said they will conduct the maintenance on Wed, Dec 13 - Thurs Dec 14.....

Hey everyone! I just got my NVC case number today after I sent my public inquiry a few days ago. My NOA2 is 11/22/2021. They emailed me my case number but I did not get an inquiry number. Did any of you guys get an inquiry number?

In the same boat. Would like to know how the beneficiary gets the email notifications for like visa interviews once NVC sends the case to the beneficiary's embassy?

I think that 11/29 date is when NVC received your case from USCIS since it was 3 weeks after your NOA2 on 11/8. My NOA was Nov 22 and I found out NVC received my case on December 14 which was basically 3 weeks too. I'm thinking I'll get my NVC case number by Feb 6 then going off your numbers. I'll probably send an enquiry a few days before.

My NOA2 is Nov 22, 2022. I found out from the NVC emails they received my case from USCIS on Dec 14, 2022. Seeing that someone with a NOA2 on 11/8/2022 getting their NVC case I'm hopeful mine will be soon.

@Optimist19 Wow. It has been 18 days since I got the approval and my lawyer hasn't gotten it yet. Kind of making me panic now. I know we need that form for AOS and if anything goes funky with the NVC process we need to show them the I-797 form right?

Hi @Optimist19 thanks for replying back. I do have an immigration attorney. I contacted him yesterday and he said he hasn't gotten it yet. How long did it take for your lawyer to get the official notice (I-797) after NOA2?

Hello everyone, NOA1: 9/17/2021 NOA2: 11/22/2022 I received the I-797C form a few days after NOA2 stating that our case has been approved by USCIS, that it is being sent to the NVC and that this I-797C form is not the true receipt notice. On my NOA2 approval online, it says I should receive the true approval notice(I-797 form) by Dec 7 but I still have not gotten it yet. I have only received the I-797C. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the true approval notice of NOA2 (I-797 form)?
