    @Family @Crazy Cat Thank you both for your guidance! I am working full time for a company now (not self employed) and my income is very good. In response to the RFE, I’ve submitted an updated I-864, passport pages, my tax return transcripts for 2021-2023, W2s, 6 months of paystubs, letter from employer detailing my position/start date/salary, and the whole package for my joint sponsor (I-864 and supporting documents). I think I should be in good shape, and am feeling reassured! Many thanks.

    Hi there! I am the USC spouse of the beneficiary, who currently has a pending AOS from K-1 visa based on marriage. We received an RFE for the I-864 since I did not make enough last year. My aunt has agreed to be our joint sponsor, and she earns over $75k per year, and has done so for many years. Steady, full time job for big corporation. However, she just turned 60 and while she does not plan to retire anytime soon, I am concerned whether USCIS will consider her future income to be uncertain given her age. I could not find much on this particular question anywhere else, so any insights would be greatly appreciated!

    Sorry, I meant the NVC tends to ship cases to embassies around 3 months after NOA2. The USCIS does indeed ship cases to the NVC in around 30-45 days, which is an earlier step. Hope that clears it up! I couldn't edit my original post.

    Thanks! I'm just like you all and anxiously awaiting my case to move forward, so happy to do what I can to share my observations. I did notice a few cases that were processed more quickly than the averages that I mentioned in my previous post, including a couple of rare cases that were shipped outside of the normal shipping dates on the calendar I shared. So, yes, I imagine it is possible that an expedite could cause the case to be shipped more quickly, but I really don't know for sure. Also keep in mind that these dates are just what VisaJourney members report, and accuracy could vary.

    Hey! Happy to share how I've been nerd-ing out over this! So I've been looking at timelines here on VisaJourney, particularly people's NOA2 dates and NVC receive dates. I also looked for dates that people got their NVC case numbers. The pattern shows that, recently, cases have often (not always) been sent out around roughly 3 months after the NOA2 and around roughly 3 weeks after NVC case creation. This does vary, of course. Then I looked at the calendar of dates the NVC supposedly ships cases to embassies, which I got from the Facebook group for "July & August 2021 K1 Visa Filers". February 14, the next shipping date, seems to line up with my timeline based on the stats I mentioned above. (My NOA2 is 11/14 and NVC case creation date was 1/21.) I know that this is not a guarantee and things can always change, but it does give me some idea of when I might be able to expect my case to be sent out. Although it's not certain, hope it helps!

    I have the same NOA2 date as you and also “at NVC”. I anticipate our batch of cases will be shipped to the embassies on 2/14, as biscoito1r mentioned, as long as there are no backlogs at our particular embassies.

    Groups who are tracking other months seem to already have efficient scripts for running reports on an entire month’s worth of data. If someone is interested in managing the daily case reports for August, you might ask user Cheddy, who posts the reports in the July group, if they could share their script and maybe explain how to run it each day.

    Hi all! I searched the Vietnam forums and haven’t seen this mentioned previously. I was reading this article today on VNExpress about emigration procedures with Vietnam’s foreign affairs ministry for Vietnamese looking to move abroad. Does anyone know about specific procedures that Vietnamese have to go through with the Vietnamese government like this to move abroad, for example someone moving to the US via the K-1 fiancé visa? Thanks so much for any advice or information!

    Many thanks to you and to @ROK2USA for your advice! I'll go ahead and file the paper AR-11 and then online 30 days later. Luckily, I am friends with the owner of the house where we previously lived, so we should be able to retrieve any mail that comes for us there... just in case.

    Hi everyone! I'm the petitioner (US citizen) and I filed our I-129F petition whilst living in my fiance's country (Vietnam) in August 2021. Currently awaiting NOA2. Now, I've moved back to the US and established domicile. I've received a job offer (with salary well above poverty level) and I now live at the US mailing address that was originally listed in my I-129F. However, my I-129F shows a physical address and employer in Vietnam (as of August 2021). Nowhere in my I-129F did I mention that I planned to move back home. Do I need to send any kind of updates to USCIS to avoid any RFEs relating to this? Thank you for any advice you can provide!
