Have our interview this week! Any advice for the big day? We have read through most of the online posts on what documents to bring and what to expect, but not sure if that fully prepares you. 

How exciting!! Hope it goes well for you guys.

We uploaded our 2021 tax info and W2's/T4's for us and our joint sponsor to ceac before the interview. They did ask for it and it was super nice not having to dig through all the stuff I brought - then and there. Otherwise, they only asked for my civil docs. We also updated and uploaded refreshed domicile evidence to ceac before. They never asked about domicile. 

Some of the questions I got were: 

- what does your husband do for work?

- What does your joint sponsor do for work?

- have you ever had any pas immigration issues with the US?

- What was your longest stay in the US as a visitor?

- When and where did you meet your spouse?

- When did you get married?

No really personal questions at all surprisingly.

Be a little early to get in line, and make sure you check out the location the night before so you don't have a hard time finding your way there! We asked the hotel for a wake-up call which helped the nerves - even though we had like 10 alarms set! (Ours was at 815). I waited about 1.5 hrs to give my documents to them to review, and then after I gave them my docs, I waited another 30 min for the interview. The interview was like 5 or so minutes.
