This is abject silliness. With untamed inflation, supply shortages and war in Europe, I sincerely hope the government doesn't waste any of our time and money on such a trite distraction.
Having spent many years as an 'Alien' prior to receiving my US citizenship, I can attest to surviving entirely unscathed and untraumatized through the entire ordeal. One could argue the term 'Foreigner' is more offensive than the legal term 'Alien'. And, like others have said, me and my kids always found the use of 'Alien' on my green card to be quite whimsical. 👽😄
