  1. My RFE this time is requesting 1: a copy of the marriage certificate within 90 days of the K-1's arrival in the US, and 2: evidence of a lawful admission or parole into the United States, e.g. I-797, I-94, and passport pages, and I definitely know I included those in my original package that I sent in January. To show evidence of lawful admission or parole into the United States, I will include the I-797, I-94, and passport page scans of the biographic page, K-1 visa page, and entry stamp page using K-1 visa. She also has an advance parole, so should we also include a scan of the advance parole, and passport page scans of additional entry into the US? Also, my immigration lawyer recommended sending everything by mail and not by using the uscis website, but I'm not sure if that's just because he's old school and hasn't had experience with the website or if there are cases where the website has caused delays, does anyone know about downsides of responding to the RFE by website instead of mail? I'm currently out of the country and won't be back for another month.
  2. Sorry to hear you're going through this, and also relieved that it's not only me. I also just saw on my uscis that they sent a RFE for documents which I already submitted. Funnily enough, I also submitted the AOS from San Jose (but recently moved to NY, not sure if that has any effect on how the AOS is processed though)
